I loved how Khirad did not break down in front of Fareeda and stood her ground. Mahira is doing a fantastic job in her role with the way she is carrying the role of Khirad, a self-respecting woman. Loved how she stood her ground when she came home. I do not think that Khirad will so easily forgive Asher. I hope he finds out the truth by Episode 19 and we get 2 episodes of him trying to make it up to Khirad and prove to her he can be her 'humnavayi.'
Fawad is doing a fabulous job too as Asher. He is using his eyes as the best way to communicate his feelings and its very apt.; especially in the precap. He looked as if he was ready to break down or kill Fareeda.
Ms. Atiqa is doing a wonderful job too. Subtle nuances and gestures in her earlier actions make sense now. For example, when she asked Asher if he was happy and he confessed at if he wasn't but now he is. There was subtle gesture in her facial expression that revealed she wasn't too pleased with his growing feelings for Khirad.
I think Sara and her mother had NOTHING to do with Khizer and Fareeda's plans. Sara's mom was always the one more accepting of the situation and encouraging everyone to move on. I do not think she would encourage her sister to do what she has done. I don't think Sara had a role in this but she may be the one to bring them together, otherwise why give her so much prominence constantly in OST and in the show when in the novel she didn't have a role at all.
Khizer... no words for his actions. Such selfishness will only hurt him in the end. I wish they could have gotten a better actor with more handsome looks to play his part. Otherwise, with a man as good-looking as Fawad, why would anyone believe she would have an affair with him?
Unlike the novel, Khirad couldn't leave Asher a note. So I think it will be Khizer who will end up telling Asher the truth, which gels with the OST extended promo in which Asher in glass has grabbed Khizer by the collar and slaps him too.
