Wow I really liked this short story I thought the use of these kind of short sentences
He could still see that look in her eyes, as if a part of her had died. She didn't fight him. She didn't explain. She just died in his arms. His eyes flew open at the memory.

were very effective. Even though I felt the pain I thought the slight humour at the end was a great touch.
