Hero Bannay Ki Tarang, the first reality show of its kind on Pakistani Television is currently in its second season airing on ARY, and PTV on weekends. The show might not have many takers(read dismal ratings), but in the media circle it is the burning topic.

It can be said that the show is not able to garner the expected ratings because it is aired on two channels, and one is not able to reach the right viewership. It is also said that the show lack the power to keep the viewers hooked on to it. It has been said that the strings are quite weak in this case, but all in all a good effort.

In the media circles, the show is the talk of the town as it is said that through this one is able to unearth some really talented performers across the country as it is giving them a chance to showcase their skills. The show was also under some criticism thanks to judge Reema. It is believed that Reema has not been able to fill into Resham's shoes(judge in first season).

It is also believed that the show has earned respect of osme veterans thanks to the homage that it has been paying lately,and the mentor concept that has brought some of our legends back to the limelight.

Faysal Qureshi has also been criticized for his lackluster hosting.
The show that is still in its initial stage promises to give our industry a great jodi, and some mindblowing performers.
