Can't believe this has ended, and you did great justice to the story. Each chapter was brilliantly written. I agree, I don't think this story needs and epilogue as the last chapter was closure enough. Do let me know when you start a new story, I accidentally stumbled across this one but it may not happen all the time and I can't miss out on one of yours!

First of all, let me start by saying it was a good 'short' story written by you! I like the way you packaged the very simple yet sensual attraction between Maan and Geet which ends with love and confessions. At times I feel it's a sin to be in love! LOL
I can see the difference in your writing style, where you are using present-tense through your sentencing and use of verbs. I like the fact that you make your writing 'invisible' and the reader can concentrate on your on the story rather than writing! Had I not known, I would have never picked up on the difference in style! :)
I am little disappointed in the time gap, especially around 8:09pm and 8:54pm, missing out on the secrets that lay under the sheets! Wink
I quote the Louis de Bernires for Maan and Geet...
~Love is a temporary madness, it erupts like volcanoes and then subsides. And when it subsides, you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion, it is not the desire to mate every second minute of the day, it is not lying awake at night imagining that he is kissing every cranny of your body. No, don't blush, I am telling you some truths. That is just being "in love", which any fool can do. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident.
I wonder what is it with hot chocolate and bourbon Hasini. I never knew this SS existed until I accidentally found it in FF forum. Awesome as usual is an understatement. I got a mild heartbreak with the last sentence of the penultimate update and recovered and how with the sweet last one.

I loved it. From the sadness of his walking into an empty(?) home, to the small smile that he hides when he sees her to the "Finally" moment to the suing of the clock company, I loved every moment. Their togetherness was described perfectly and I think this is your forte.
Hasini, see I am being rational now and not asking for an epilogue to this story.
You are a master story teller and somehow your characters end up staying with me for days on end. So off to work with the most foolish smile on my face today! Waiting for more from you. Hope to see you over a plate of bourbon cookies and two glasses of milk soon.

hey Hasini, nice one
i so loved the update hasini
once again i bow down to your awesomeness...
you made their journey so beautiful, engaging, and enthralling...this is one of the ff which i know i will come back to time and again...
waiting for you to start another ff...
I have been trying so hard to get some words out from the past 3 updates.. to no avail.
Comment , I will, cause I genuinely wouldn't be able to 'not' comment. But taking in those drunk words so so beautifully strung together like teasing verses, I am unable to formulate my experience into anything intelligible.
have been reading and re-reading to feel their smoothness warm my ears as they glide through them... beautiful language.
Love your work, Hasini.
