So far , they are saying that for swaraj they are marrying Shivaji to that witch Soirabai.

Just like Soira has that crook and witch as dad n mom; doesn't Saibai have her father who too would be a powerful maratha chieftain?

Without seeking his approval, how can Shahji raje bring Sautan for their daughter?

History has shown us that, later on, Shivaji-Saibai's daughter is married to Saibai's brother's son, so that her brother is converted back to Hinduism. He had joined Auranzeb's forces and converted to Islam(surely under duress)

why wud shahaji raje care for his bahu when he didnt care for his wife ???
in those days all men just took women for granted ... even the noblest men like shahaji raje did so
in those days having a sautan was not a big deal in front of society ... but still no woman had any option ... at times even sisters were married off to the same man ...
let society be old or new ... but women's emotions were same ... even in that time no woman cud had tolerated her sautan whole heartedly ... its so difficult for a woman to see her husband getting shared
we modern guys have much more symapthy owards our gf ... but in those time even decent men took wives are granted while marrying multiple times
ok i agree that tukabai was a decent lady ... but did shahajiraje care while marrying her & throwing her on face of jijabai & making her accept ... when he didnt care about wife then y the hell will he care for bahu

I am saying that if Saibai's mayka also were powerful , (they should have been; otherwise, how could she have got wedded to Shivaji); they could have been a deterrent factor to dissuade Shahji to act in this haste.
Alas, it's not clear in History about Saibai's mayka. We could ask eminent marathi historians about this.

they didnt get married only for the sake of gettgin married, but there used to b political reasons behind so many marreiges...
