Shalini Chandran is back on Indian Television through BAG Films' 'Looteri Dulhan', after being replaced in Colors' Rishton Se Badi Pratha' by Parul Chauhan. Shalini was replaced by Parul Chauhan since the production house was looking for a bigger face to shoulder the role in Pratha.

Buzz is that Shalini is set to essay the role of Abhinav's (Mrunal Jain) wife. Her entry will make way for an interesting story line when it is revealed that Abhinav is actually married. It is heard that Shalini's character in the show will be positive. 
 
Apart from playing the lead role in 'Rishton Se Badi Pratha', Shalini has also starred earlier in 'Hamari Betiyoon Ka Vivaah' as Tanya and also in 'Kabhi Kabhi Pyaar Kabhi Kabhi Yaar'.
