Neeraj Malviya: A toothy affair

While many strange things happen on the sets during shooting, what happened recently during the shoot of Ram Milaayi Jodi was a tad too much. Actor Neeraj Malviya had his tooth knocked out by co-star Indraneel Bhattacharya, however it was not due to a fight between the two.

 Apparently, there was a scene which required Indraneel to slap Neeraj, unfortunately on the side he had an aching tooth.

 Neeraj had apparently gone around telling all that he didn't want to be slapped as he had a tooth ache. Sara Khan, who's very pally with Neeraj, didn't buy his tooth ache theory and was convinced he was chickening out. That's when she decided to play a prank on Neeraj. Sara asked Indraneel to slap Neeraj hard and later pass it off as "being carried away with the shot". All enthused at the idea of the prank, Indraneel did as he was instructed and much to everyone's utter shock, out popped the troublesome tooth! Only then did Sara and Indraneel realise that Neeraj's complaints were genuine and apologized profusely. Sara rushed him to her personal dentist.

 "We all thought Neeraj was faking a tooth ache to avoid being slapped in the scene. So we decided to turn the tables on him. We didn't know that the poor guy was actually nursing a shaky, on-the-verge-of-falling tooth! He is fine now although he hasn't stopped pulling my leg over his missing tooth," says Sara with a grin.
