Here are some pics, info, and articles on Ashok Balakrishnan, who played Krishna during the pre-teen phase of Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna (Kaaliya Daman and Govardhan tracks, for which he won an Uptron Award for best child artist). He is now an accomplished choreographer and actor in the Tamil film industry.

Any more info on him would be much appreciated, we mytho masti members are curious as to what our Krishna's been upto all these years 😆

Ashok Kumar Balakrishnan was born on 12th December 1981 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. He had his schooling in Fatima School and Vani Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School, Mullund, Mumbai. He has graduated in B.A. - sociology, psychology and Hindi literature from St.Xaviers College, Mumbai. He learnt Bharathanatyam at the age of four and he\'s also trained in Western Jazz Ballet. He had performed at various stages across India and toured abroad for dance projects. He has acted as well as choreographed for several Indo-German and Indo-French Dance and Theatre Projects. He has won several awards and honors including the coveted Nritya Mayur award for excellence in dance. He also worked as an assistant dance choreographer with Raju Khan who is the son of popular choreographer Saroj Khan. He got formal training in acting from Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute Mumbai. He also got trained in Film stunts, fights and gymnastics. Cinema has been a passion since his childhood. He played the role of Little Krishna dancing on the Kaliya Snake, lifting the Govardhana Mountain, etc. in teleserial Sri Krishna for which he won the Best Child Actor Award. His entry into the celluloid world was through the Kollywood film Industry. He made his debut film Murugaa, which gave him a strong recognition among the public. His second film Pudichiruku was an average grosser. He captivates the audience through his smart and charming face.

thanks for the super info abt him I never knew that he acted as little krishna if any one has that pics or videos pls post it i would like to watch it. i hope he gets a good future in film industry
