hey guys 😊

i have seen that the written updates have been copied from here and posted on to other forums which is so annyoning 😡, as i will be carrying on updating, i dont want this to happen again.

what i wanted to know was how do restrict the posts to members only?

OMG, that is so annoying

i've seen some other ppl restricting it for IF forums only in other sections but i dont know how to do it myself

At the start of your post, use the NOCOPY tag within brackets, and you'll see a note asking people not to copy, and the update won't be readable unless someone logs in. It's copy protected, and can't even be cited i.e. when somebody responds to you using Quote, your post won't appear in his response, and nor can anybody highlight and copy your text. Use this for all your future updates.

Also, no need for a closing /NOCOPY tag - if you type that, it'll actually appear!

P.S. By the look of it, it only works w/ the opening post of a thread, and not subsequent ones. But this is how it's done

the code is breakable

if u all want to see which site updates r copied

but i m telling u its still copied

btw thanks for ur update

show is moving now good
in btwn it had slowed down a bit

if u find out the way do let us know how to stop copying

its annoying when u come up with good innovative way of updating and making it entertaining and ppl copy word to word 😡😡😡

Nice to see you after a while - how're you doing? Actually, I'm largely inactive this month, and will return in January, but just thought that this thread was worth helping out w/

is valid only for the starting post of a thread, by looks of it. It works fine if you were to start a thread w/ an update post. NOCOPY works - just try even highlighting text in an update and see if you can. Only people who have privileged access - viewbies, mods etc - can cite such posts. Although if someone displays a page in its HTML code view, wonder if that might give them such an opening?

I've seen such copies - those who copy are so moronic that they even copy parenthetical comments colorcoded differently. 🤪

i peep in here now and then

i started watching this show but rupesh behaviour just upset me the way he was projecting his wealth and all

so i just watched on and off
i m doing updates in gkd and found out updates being copied

so there is a viewbie jnawaz
she gave me the code

it works in first post only and i tried all copy thing and all

cant copy but these duffers or moronic as u say copy entier thing

if u hv time do read my updates in gkd section

they hv done my haha hehe and some stupid comments also from me
word to word copy

nice to catch up with u again vrish

I honestly haven't been following that serial - just saw the episode where Arpita 'eloped' a/ Avdesh, and after her bhauji entered and started making her own play for her devar, I stopped watching. Even this serial - after Murli started ill-treating Bharti, I tuned off. Good too - I need to curtail my TV viewing, and Jyoti gone is a blessing.

Currently, I was cool viewbie for Jyoti, & am viewbie for Rakt Sambandh. (Incidentally, which is higher - viewbie or cool viewbie? 😆) But this month, due to other major commitments, I'm going to be on I-F very infrequently, and return on New Years eve. Hardly visit the viewbie forum. Maybe I will once I'm back. When I am, I normally do their Wednesday updates, as well as any other days the updates are missing - just ensure that that forum is interesting and active.

hmm i hd read few of ur updates and posts

i saw ur promotion come on time
rakt sambhand havent seen it

gkd startign was good its dragging but story is still interesting

here bavd was drag initially and the way girl was projected i didnt like it at all

now all the wealth show is backfiring on rupesh

i know prior commitments are always there

keep in touch it was good to catch up again

i had told jaz abt the updates being copied despite the code

and i had just right clicked at some stage to see page source

and in html format thing i didnt think

but the way duffers copy word to word its so idiotic

do read my update if u hv time i wud be doing todays anyways

and jyoti i had started seeing again past week to see how it ends

didnt like it at all
