STORY SO FAR...

The story is about pakhi the main protagonist who lives in a remote village of west bengal kaliganj.there is a evil practice in the village where every girl of this villiage have 2 give her fidelity test before her marriage the test is conducted by a godwoman known as mahamai by the villagers bcoz of this ongoing practice girls lose their independence and become captive in their own house.paskhi is shown as a free spirited girl who has her own mind she doesn't completely agree wid this practice and when one of her best frient sharmi failed the test she is taken aback by the whole incident .the girls who fail in this test r taken 2 narkh ka dwar this is place where all this girls will have 2 live a life of isolation and severe the ties 4m their family and rest of the villagers will boycott dat family.in the present story sharmi having failed the test the villagers stoned her and she is taken 2 narkh ka dwar not able 2 bear this her father dies villagers do not even come 4 his last rites now steps in dadabhai he is said 2 b father like figure 4 the villagers he is a wealthy person and villagers c him wid gr8 respect he volunteers 2 do the last rites of sharmi's father and takes the villagers by his side 2 perform his last rites mahamai is furious abt this and she seeks an explanation from dadabhai then he reveals the real story abt this evil practice. it is actually plot hatched by mahamai and dadabhai.dadabhai targets the innocent girls of village as his prey amd mahami on pretext of conducting the test fails the girls selected by dadabhai this girl's r taken 2 narkh ke dwaar which is actually happens 2 b dadabhai's den these girls fall prey 2 his lust and then he sell them off 2 different places since family and villagers they do not enquire abt those girls this practice continues in this way b'coz the villagers have a blind beleif n mahamai and dadabhai.mahamai is a puppet in the hands of dadabhai bcoz he knows some of her secrets and dats why she works 4 him next is pakhi's is turn wat fate has in store 4 her is 2 b seen...
