ππ as thickheaded as Sajid may sound, he does have a point...! ππ
though, he is not completely right... you do need a good script for a movie to be successful... i guess that is why he does chori the tried-and-tested scripts from hollywood movies... ππ and his movies do become hits, because of the big stars... and really, people place so much value by the name of a big star that even a half decent movie does way more business than a better movie with better script with not-so-big stars...!! not always, but in majority of the cases...!!
so really, he's not completely wrong in his thinking...! sometimes, even i feel the same... sometimes, we have an ordinary movie, but still it becomes a blockbuster, only and only, because of the stars... Ghajini, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and Dabang being the recent examples... ππ a mediocre script and a huge star = blockbuster...! πππ
scripts are important, but stars play a bigger role in bringing audience to theatre... and movie making to people like Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiawala, etc. is just a business.... and in business, people only think about how to make money...!!
