Wow m_kall !!! This is really beautiful !! I've always wished to attend Durga Puja celebrations in Kolkata !! Really you've clicked lovely pics !! Durga Puja is celebrated very nicely in Delhi as well !! We have Durga Puja Pandals in different locations and one of them is chosen as the winner !!! and Navratri celebrations are awsome out here !! We have Dandiya Nights and Dandiya celebration in our College as well !!! You'll find thousands of people playing Dandiya together in fields !!!

Happy Navratri n Durga Puja to all of u!Since I've lived in Calcutta for two yrs,I got to see da wonderful n famous Durga Puja,Kali Puja n Saraswati puja der.We i.e. me n my couins used to love da sound of the dhak!I'm born n brought up in Gujarat,wer Navratri is awaited thruout da yr wid great anticipation!Da joy of doing Garba wid friends,visiting Pooja pandals n family get together n Ravan dahan on Dashami is smtyn which I really cherish!

I have heard about Durga Pujo in Delhi. I have seen this festival in many cities of India, but unfortunately not in Delhi.
Well, here also awards are given for best idol, best mandap, best lighting, best atmosphere etc. etc. by many organisations. Once the awards are declared the winners become the major crowd puller. You have to wait for hours in the queue to have a glimpse of the Goddess.
