Wow. That was awesome -- can't believe it's half time already.

Even though I'm partial towards Uruguay, Netherlands has been playing very well. Van Bommel -__- How I wish they would take him off. I can't believe how he never gets carded despite so many fouls. As my commentator said in an earlier game: What does he have to do to get a yellow card? Kick the referee?

- Brilliant goal by Netherlands' captain that is arguably the best WC goal.

- A couple of missed chances on both sides.

- Netherlands dominated possession.

- Uruguay's player kicked one of ther Dutch defenders in the face when he was attempting an overhead kick. The thing nearly got out of control but crisis was averted.

- One yellow so far - to Uruguay.

- Forlan scored with a brilliant left foot, equalized it :P

The match is getting kind of wonky. I see a player on the ground every few seconds which is kind of disappointing.

55: Give Uruguay a lot of credit; they are really disrupting the Dutch in midfield and doing it without fouling. Very disciplined so far.

And really I'm inclined to agree on this front. Still rooting for a Holland win though!

Excellent goal by Gio van Bronckhorst..best goal of the world cup so far!!!!!!! Good goal by Forlan too, Holland keeper must be cursing himself for letting that one slip..
