The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) may have denied giving permission to Indian cricket players from taking part in 'Fear Factor', but they certainly have no condition to the men in blue making guest appearances in movies or TV serials.
There is news that Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan might be making a special appearance in SAB TV's popular TV show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'.
Inspired by the IPL 2, this Neela Telefilms production, had launched its own cricket tournament – Gokuldham Premier League.
The game was fought between Jabardast Jehta and Bindaas Bhide in the compound of Gokuldham Society.
GPL was really apprized by the audiences, and maker Asit Modi had vowed to have a bigger and better season this year. This season, Modi is said to be wooing Irfan Pathan.
A source said, "Though not confirmed, but the channel and the production are said to have approached cricketer Irfan Pathan to make a guest appearance in the show. It talks go smoothly, then Pathan should be the star attraction of GPL."
Producer Asit Modi was not available to comment.
So, keep watching 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' on SAB to know the answer.
