Many times its the actual song and music that makes you want to dance. No doubt Chamma Chamma is more popular.

This is true. But you can hear Alkaji's famous 'smiling' voice in 'Chhamma Chhamma'

Just listen to the way she sings words 'raja', 'chhamma' even 'aye chhamma' is perfectly rendered.

And in 'Yaar Mere' Uditji overshadows Anuradha in expressing every line. There is no lyric that they both sing and in which Anuradha is not overshadowed.

Man xobile, that's really surprising you say that. Considering you are the BIGGEST Udit Naryan fan on IF! 👎🏼 Yeah I'm really surprised you think that way. Same happened with Sunidhi Chauhan in "Dhadak Dhadak".

No one is comparing her to Udit Narayan. You are acting like Alka Yagnik sang with her and overshadowed her.

It'll be really interesting if there is a tie-break between Alka and Anuradha.

In the 90's Anuradha Paudwal would use her influence at T-Series to dub others' songs. So even though music directors would choose Alka Yagnik to sing their songs, they would be forced by the casette company to dub the songs with Anuradha's voice. (She even forced Anu Malik to dub over Lataji's voice with her own, but that's another story...)

Then when Alka was a big name in herself, she could afford to resist these dubbings - and we ended up with two versions of the same song - one by Alka, another by Anuradha.

So if we could compare them on the same song, it would make the tie break round very interesting!
