Vikram and Vidya check out Bhola who is the child molester. But they fail to pin him down since Vidya can't recognise him and everyone says he's a good soul. Adit is brooding in the darkness when mother and daughter return. He sees that Vidya is upset. She hugs him and tells him that when he's near, she's unafraid of anything. He wonders what has brought this on. She tells him of her experience at the market place. Adit is furious and asks her why she didn't report him to the cops. She is worried for Antara and feels the girl needs him more than her. He stomps into A's room and barges her about going off with strangers. Poor Antara, she is confused and hurt that Papa is shouting at her. He's bit rough with her and she protests. He is teaching her to protect herself. He decides to playact. She is in tears. Vidya comes in and tells him to be patient. He says he has no time. Vidya is confused and asks him what he means. She says she's autistic. He says what will happen to her when both of them are dead and gone.
A sorrowful Adit cannot pass the night in peace. He starts to write a diary. He writes the details of how much money will be required the keep Vidya, Abhi and Antara comfortable and comes up with a figure of Rs 2 crore. He sleeps over the diary.
Vidya sees him sprawled over his diary in the morning in his sleep. Vidya gets up in the morning and comes to him. She is astonished at his scribblings. She wonders when he has started keeping a diary. He replies since Fate took over his life. He changes the subject and compliments her. His day will go well because he's seen her first thing in the morning. On a serious note, he says he wants to live his whole life in this moment. She laughs.
Precap: Bhola the molester is happy that Antara is alone in the clinic with him. No one has come to take her home. He has his lascivious eyes on her. The co-worker is there but he asks her to go. And when all is quiet and they are alone, he starts advancing towards her.
