Akhilendra Mishra in the movie 'Delhi 6'

Akhilendra Mishra plays a role in the movie Delhi 6! He is playing a role of a Baba/Sadhu!
Did any of you watch this movie?

Lol..i was looking for his loud laugh there but sadly he didnt laugh his Ravan-laugh.

Hmm...so Mishra ji is the role of sadhu...I must watch this movie then.

well you know what Ananya, this movie is very different. You will get to see the stage Ramayan in this movie as well!!!! Yes, you read it right!

And Mishra's role comes in the 2nd part for about 10mins. Basically he is a sadhu who trys to free ppl from a Kala Bandar's criminal activites in Delhi 6 (a criminal black monkey man or mayb a bhoot that people cant see and he scares people).
that's his job...dont know the exact word in hindi or english for  someone who does this job!!
Mishra as a sadhu performs a puja so that ppl cud get rid of this invisible monkey!!!!!

As the story preceeds in the movie, we see Stage Ramayan on side as well, starting from Panchwati and Sita-Haran, ends at Ravan's death and Dusshera!!! Well...Mishra doest play Ravan's role though!!!!

Ananya the main story is based on an American born boy, Roshan (Abhishek bachan) who comes to Delhi at the wish of his ill grandmother as she wants to spend the last moments of her life in india. and from here he sees the 'real' india!!

As for Stage Ramayan (hope this is the correct word. dunno know what ppl call it in india...pls correct me) its just a side story. its not in detail, just acting!

so, u watch the movie not for Ramayan but for entertainment really....well there is a moral in this movie as well!!!!!!

By d way, is Delhi-6 means the old-Delhi? or what? well, thats what i thought after watching the movie!
anyone knows what Delhi 6 is?
