mtph a trend setter

I think MTPH has become set a trend setter.......I was doing channel surfing yesterday saw a new serial on ztv..called maa.
The hero has three kids and it is so badly done... they are trying to show how much mother likes those children and father loves his chlidren and mother and the children love their maa and dad.. the director looked desperate to put it across to viewers... remember the first episode of MTPH one episode we understood anchal's family and sid and jaya's family and the special relation jaya and sid share ...how beautifully done...
I will miss this serial a lot. If it were on some other established channel they would have let it take its course.
NDTV imagine for whatever reasons( I think they are going through a financial crisis and need to do something )did not do justice to the makers of the show and to the viewers.

i agree....and i lve this show and will totally miss it!!

yes i saw the promos of that show before it started and it struck me whoa they have ripped off the concept from MTPH....the show didn't appeal to me at all...no offence but the star cast isn't that appealing and the kids aren't that cute....they even have 2 boys, 1 girl, all in all 3 children same like MTPH...only difference i guess is that father dies in this show....but no show can compare to MTPH...it was fresh and unique and original..........ndtv sure took a wrong decision they could have easily shifted the show to a new time slot all other channels begin their prime time programs from 7pm and run it till 11:30pm....they could have done the same and accomodated the new shows as well....

The very presence of a copy on a competitor channel proves the popularity of this show... MTPH is so different - nothing like it on any other channel... its so unique too... these days all channels are trying to copy each other.. ballika vadhu has spurred rajasthan based serials on all channels now.. i read on this forum that Baddi Malkin (expected in March on Zee) is on the lines of Bandini (new show on NDTV imagine)..

As always I agree with all of you friends..That serial Jypti look sso typical..melodramatic..with teh girl sacrifising..like a mahan aatma...etc etc..I haet it..and that deheleez looks like an old Ekta kapoor idea..GOSH..How can anyone replace MTPH NO ONE..if you ask me..BUT I THINK no one is bothered about people like us..SAd..!!
