24/12 Written Update

Shaelin stops Aradhana before she can Nikita and apologises for trying to force her to swim and tells her that they'll go for a long romantic drive and a walk.

House…

Vrinda is trying to help Sagar with his homework but he tells her that she got the wrong answer and sulks saying that she doesn't know anything.  Dadu walks past coughing and a worried Nirmila asks if he's okay but he waves her of and heads towards his room.  Bharat follows and says that because Aradhana isn't here he's not taking his medicines properly.  Dadu smiles and asks Bharat to have a drink with him later tonight as Aradhana isn't here and they'll get away with it.

Shimla…

Aradhana and Shaelin are on the road when Aradhana tells him to stop.  She hurries out in to the surrounding woods and says that this is the same spot they came to 10 years ago.  Shaelin realises that he forgot his mobile and starts to head back but Aradhana stops him and says that it's good thing as no-one will disturb them now.  She talks to him but Shaelin is lost in thoughts about Nikita.

Aradhana asks where he's lost and Shaelin comments that everything has changed in the past ten years.  Aradhana agrees and says that their thinking has also changed in the past ten years and they have drifted apart.  Shaelin asks her not to think like that as such things happen in ten years of marriage.

Later…

Aradhana is having fun as Shaelin sits to one side looking bored.  He asks if they can go as it's getting late but Aradhana wants to wait longer.  She notices a child eating ice-cream and points him out to Shaelin and saying that when she sees such a happy family she becomes jealous as she also wishes for someone to call them their parents.

Shaelin says that their family is already so big and stalls her saying that they will talk about it later.

House…

Dadu sneaks out to meet Bharat who pours him a drink.  Bharat tells him to have his drink and they can hurry back otherwise Nirmila will have their head.  Dadu finishes his drink and Dadu asks for another one.  Bharat hurriedly pours it in and Dadu starts to drink it when Nirmila comes in and furiously tells them that they can try all they want but nothing is hidden from her.  She scolds Bharat

Hotel room…

Shaelin and Aradhana dance to soft music in each others arms but Shaelin realises that she's fallen asleep against his chest.  He kisses her forehead and puts her in to bed [I wonder if she had anything to drink?  Omg, I think he put sleeping pills in her drink?!] before leaving the room.

Morning…

Aradhana wakes up and calls out for Shaelin.  When she doesn't find him and can't get through to his mobile, Aradhana becomes worried and wonders if he's angry with her.  She leaves the room and looks around in the hotel before finally heading to the reception.  They inform her that Shaelin left no message for her and Aradhana becomes increasingly anxious and berates herself for spoiling his mood the night before.

Nikita wakes up smiling with Shaelin in her bed.  She notices that it's 10 o'clock and frantically tries to wake Shaelin up.
