Feel sorry for Simran - Page 2

i don't think neha should have to die. this serial is supposed to
be a little more realistic than others and also progressive, so
having neha die is too convenient. i mean, in such situations in
real life, people just don't pop dead to solve the protagonist's
problem. since simran is projected as a mature person and
now (according to simran), abhi too is mature (though i don't
agree), they should deal with this in a mature manner. neha
has been shown as an immature character so far and it is
unlikely that she'll suddenly mature to bring those two together.
yes, a dealthbed scene like that is likely but it'll be sad if the
show can't do better.
what simran is trying to do right now is a good effort to deal with
the problem, and she probably deserves better in life but her
life is the result of her own decisions. she made a very bad
decision to pressure abhi into marrying neha, probably
because she didn't dare face her own feelings in the face of her
dad's disdain for abhi (btw, it really irks me how mr.mathur is so
holier-than-thou about abhi for treating his daughter so when
he himself had a mistress for years and years while his wife
was still alive. where does he get off exactly?).
as far as i understand it, the abhi-neha marriage is pretty void
already. abhi just can't handle being married - he has never
respected any wife of his - he disrespected simran by having
an affair and telling simran that she has to accept his mistress,
kiran never stood a chance because they didn't respect each
other and now neha stands too slim a chance as abhi has
shown no respect for her feelings of insecurity at all. what
chance does a marriage stand if the spouse is not given first
priority? neha would be more secure if abhi was more sensitive
to her feelings - he knows she's insecure, can't he stop msging
simran when in bed or stop running around sim at the drop of a
hat.
simran has not shown much respect towards abhi's marriage
either. to call an ex back from the US just to solve some gharelu
problem of hers is ridiculous, as is decorating the ex's
apartment . she's really been acting crazy, while very
conveniently not even realising it. at least now she's been
forced to face the problem head on.
neha should dump abhi nevertheless. what a jerk.
simran should dump abhi too - she certainly deserves better in
spite of her interfering nature (poor manas).
