Don't ask about BB
"When I ask people if they watch Bigg Boss 2, they say let's not discuss it. This time, the lot they have taken are so-called 'newsmakers'. I didn't recognise any of the faces when I first saw them (the housemates). It's very difficult to honestly empathise or get to like them. The only thing known about these people is whatever one has read about them and it has all been controversial. They don't have enough history to balance the negative with the positive. They have gone in the house to change their image. In stead of an image makeover, they are further ruining it."
Mere zamaane mein
"During my time, people used to say that no matter what happened in the house, there was some charisma behind these people. The same cannot be said about this lot." When asked to comment on any one contestant this season, Rahul tries to remember any familiar faces and says, "That MTV Roadies guy, uss dhaabewale ko kahaan se uthaa ke le aaye!"
The way I did it
"I was friends with everyone. One shouldn't get into politics and groups. Be good with everyone. Don't play dirty games or act smart. Be fair, work hard and do your best. This time they have created groups. This is the ugliest thing I've seen. And they only discuss nominations all the time. It's not giving a good feeling. When I won, at least people said he wasn't involved in all this. So he deserved to win. Here all of them are involved. I doubt the audiences are going to give that much respect to the winner this time; unless something dramatically changes over the next few weeks."
My winner
"When Shilpa (Shetty) first asked me to take a guess as to who would win, I said Monica Bedi, purely because she has been to prison. So she has the mental state. I didn't know what she was going to do inside the house.
Now when I see how all these people are, I can't think of any of them (as a winner). They don't deserve to win. I agree that Rahul Mahajan provides entertainment. But if someone like Rahul wins, our country will go to the dogs! Even he is not a good candidate."
