Riddhima gupta stood in the balcony of her apartment in the high building. Her apartment was on the 27th floor in Hollywood city's posh area. She looked down at the people walking around.... They looked like ants from her balcony... small enough to be crushed in a blow....she felt more powerful than all of them and power was something she enjoyed. Riddhima gupta was the best actress in Hollywood at present.
No one knew about her past nor did she intend to share it with anyone. She lived absolutely alone...her parents had thrown her blaming her of slinging mud to their name by having an affair with a married guy in Delhi, her hometown. She had done some modeling and had shot to success in no time...later she ventured into bollywood and in no time she was the most wanted actress than she tried her hand in Hollywood and she succeeded yet again...defeat was something Riddhima had never tasted except for in relationships.
Her past kept coming back and haunting her and today was one day when she wanted all those people who had once mocked her...her dreams and ambitions....her faith in herself.... to see her standing here in this very balcony with all the success she had dreamt of.
She lived in a well designed, expensive apartment while her parents still lived in a 2 bedroom flat in a small chawl and drove an old tattered Maruti while she roamed around the world in her red sexy Volkswagen convertible. Her father was still struggling to save some money for his younger daughter's marriage while she could easily afford to give some billion dollar away in charity...she was still just 26 and had already won an Oscar for a movie in which she had played the role of an 18 year virgin student.

Riddhima smiled..she loved the fact that her parents were still struggling..they had never supported her and out of fear of the society had thrown her out of her own home just because she had slept with a married man...oh! For heavens sake it was the man who was married not her...he should have been the one to be punished for cheating and lying to his wife...but no she alone tolerated all the punishment while he went back to his wife and got back to his boring but happy life with very little damage done to his reputation.

And why not? She had everything...she was the very epitome of perfection....but she never came across as a threat to any woman's married life now..never as someone who could steal away their husband....something that she had already done when 16.

She simply loved and adored her life.
