10th & 11th September Written Update

Minali is crying when Poonam comes to her and tries talking to her as she says that they all love Urmi but at the party if Urmi does or says anything to anyone then it's her everyone will point fingers at.  And besides, they don't want to do anything that will create a problem in her engagement.  Minali sternly tells her that they don't have to go to such a party and refuses to leave her sister for her engagement.

Later, Shastri, Rama and Bhai are all still up and are shown thinking about Minali.  Minali goes to Urmi's room and kisses her as she sleeps.  Shastri also heads to Urmi's room and smiles to see both sisters asleep and hugging each other.  Minali wakes up and asks if everything is fine.  Shastri asks to talk to her and they move to a side.

He tells her that the whole family thinks that if she marries Aadesh then she will live a happy life.  He adds that if this engagement breaks then Rama will never forgive him and Urmi.  Minali looks upset but replies that if he doesn't want Urmi at the party then she'll convince Urmi to say.  Shastri thanks her and they both look at Urmi.

Morning'

Rama tells Poonam that she should stay in the house and look after Urmi.  Billo sends Rama away to get Minali ready and Poonam is upset that she can't go to the party.  Billo consoles her and tells her to let them fix the alliance first; after that she can go to all the parties she wants.  Poonam is mollified.

Minali's room'

Billo and Poonam are getting Minali ready.  Billo tells Rama not to worry as she has dressed many brides and made them look beautiful.  Poonam agrees and says that whoever Billo has prepared, that girl has lived like a queen in her house.  Urmi smiles and runs to her room where she pulls out a dress and changes.  She rushes to Mianli's room and announces that she will look the best in the party.

Billo starts to tell her that she won't be going to party but Minali stops her.  Urmi runs out to get some hair clips for Minali and Rama is perplexed that Urmi doesn't know that she won't be going.  Minali tells them that she will console Urmi.

Urmi complains to Minali that she doesn't want to stay alone.  Minali assures her that Poonam will stay with her but Urmi gets tensed as she remembers Poonam locking her in the store room.  Minali consoles her and says that Poonam will play with her.  Urmi tells Minali to bring a big teddy bear and chocolate otherwise she will leave the house again.  Urmi runs of as Minali looks upset.

Later'the family leaves for the Khanna's house and Poonam is shown telling Urmi a story.  Urmi looks bored and makes an excuse of wanting to sue the bathroom.  She rushes out of the room and locks Poonam inside who is furious and promises not to spare Urmi.

At the Khanna's, the party is underway and Neelam's friends tease her that now her elder SIL is coming and she will be the one to rule the house.  Just then the Shastri's come in and Neelam looks annoyed at their 'middle class clothes'.  She excuses herself and heads out as Kripa and Aadesh welcome the Shastri's.

Aadesh asks for Urmi and the Shastri's look trouble.  Meanwhile Urmi is shown coming out the boot of the car and looking around.  Neelam spots her and smiles as she realises she has found a way to end the engagement.  A guard takes one look at Urmi and starts pushing her out despite her protests that her sister is inside.  Neelam stops the guard and tells Urmi to go inside as Minali is waiting for her.

Inside'

Kripa announces Aadesh and Minali's engagement and informs them that Gurji has decided that the wedding will be in three days time.  Shastri looks perplexed and an axious Kripa asks if everything is okay but Rama assures her that everything is fine.  Just then Urmi enters and appears lost amongst so many people.  She spots Minali and happily yells her name.  Everyone looks shocked as Urmi runs towards Minali but on the way bumps in to a waiter, knocking down his tray. 

Urmi hugs Minali and Aadesh happily greets her.  Billo becomes tensed about Poonam as Kripa angrily glares at the Shastri's.  Aadesh calls for everyone's attention and introduces the guests to Urmi.  Neelam is annoyed at Aadesh for spoiling the fun but thinks that she has to do something so that the anger in Kripa's eyes comes out in front of everyone.

Urmi starts running around the house and loudly admiring everything.  Neelam sends a waiter after Urmi who purposefully gets in her way which results in Urmi bumping in to Kripa whose sari catches fire.  A scared Urmi runs to Minali as Karan and Aadesh put out the fire.

Kripa yells at Urmi and tells Aadesh that such things will continue to happen and says that she has decided that the wedding will not happen.  Aadesh asks her not to make a decision in anger but Kripa is adamant as Neelam smirks to herself.

Urmi weeps and Aadesh tries talk to Kripa and tells her that it was the waiter who pushed Urmi and the fire could have caught Urmi's clothes as well.  He adds that Urmi is na've but she understands and asks her to forgive Urmi and not break the engagement over such a small thing.

She tells Aadesh that this is the last time and Aadesh promises that nothing will happen after this.  He assures Shastri that the wedding will take place three days later.  The family is happy but Neelam plots and thinks that a lot can happen in three days.
