Re: Water Sequence
Kudos to Avi for saving Neha. I guess yahan reel imitated the real. π
Barring the fact that Avi knows how to swim, they should have kept another professional swimmer/lifeguard on standby who can jump in if things went south.
Re: Promo
Super intrigued! And I have so much to say about it so bear with me. π
So we know that this is Garv's ex and given Garv's line, "Jo mera hai mein uska saath kabhi nahi chodta", we can assume that something extreme had happened which made Garv dump her vs the other way around. In his anger, yes he had slammed the car's door, but it was her reaching out for him. So again, we can assume that there was some misunderstanding between them that led to their break up. (I'm wondering if BM was involved in creating the misunderstanding). Garv hadn't known that she was reaching out for him since his back was already turned to her when he slammed the door. He didn't look her in the eye and break her hand. Had he known that she was reaching out for him, I don't think he would have done such an act. (I could be wrong, we'll have to see how the episode plays out to know what really happened).
"Pyaar mein dhoka" - If she had truly loved Garv, and had wanted to make things up with him, this violent act would have squashed that hope. Even if he feels remorse for his actions, it's not going to bring back her hand or reverse the trauma and pain that she went/still goes through.
A Thorned Flower Has No Place in a Garden - The first flower I thought of when she said this line is a rose. Roses by nature, have thorns on them. By using thornless roses, she's not selling them in their natural and pure state. They're modified, altered, and softened so that they look and feel more pleasing to her customers. Or in other words, she's selling lies and mock imitations. Yet, ironically, we use roses to symbolize the meaning of love. Love is not just being happy all the time. There is pain and sadness; heated disagreements and clashes of viewpoints.
TiRv I feel are showing two dimensions of Love. Titli is obviously seeking respect, and autonomy whereas Garv has an all-consuming love. In his version of love, there is no me and you, there's only "Us".
Garv's proposal - not too surprised by it since we've already seen him do it in the episode. One thing I do want to note about it is that when he approached Titli, he didn't call out her name or anything. He straight up grabbed her by the arm and spun her around. There was no care for the fact that he invaded her private space, or that she was at work. It was definitely an act of dominance.
Re: Twitter Post
LMAOOO, where's the lie though?? π€£π€£π€£
Garv ke bina koi plot hai hi nahi. π€£
Uske bina dikhayenge bhi kya? Titli ki arranged marriage? Loll, okay, what else do they have? π
As much as this show is about Titli the major driving force of the plot is Garv.
