Hi All,

I am sorely disappointed that TKTG has come to an end, but I am glad it ended on a good note and each person learning from their mistakes. I hope Sony TV airs more of this type quality serials for families to watch & enjoy. I valued TKTG for the ff reasons:

  • It was a good clean serial, no cross marriages, explicit scenes, vulgarity and twisted evil plots, unlike some the other trashy serials.
  • It promoted joint family living and whilst it may have initially showed disadvantages, it came around significantly and showed the benefits of joint living, caring for other siblings/family members.
  • It taught an important lesson, elders are not always right, Sneha being the youngest daugther-in-law taught a great lesson of forgiveness, understanding, compassion and truth despite all the accusations levelled against her.
  • MLS changing to become a better father, father-in-law and husband teaches us that one is never too old to learn.
  • The sons standing together & helping each other out. Amar realising his mistakes and evil ways and seeking forgiveness.

Overall a truly brilliant serial, at times frustrating and a bit over the top but nonetheless it portrayed good values and lessons.

In modern times, television provides a great source of entertainment for young and old, the trend now is moving towards western type soaps which is not befitting and lack moral integrity. Good wholesome serials are hard to come by and even if they start out good the explicit evil and vulgarity is so overwhelming that it leaves nothing good in the serial. Serials such as this may not alway compete with the so-called popular trashy serials, but it does teach valuable lessons which is by-far more entertaining.

Thank you to the producers, creatives and Sony for an excellent serial. Please show more quality serials.

Best wishes for the festive season.

Totally agree this was one of two that I watched the other being Jab love Hua( for it's comedy effect) I loved the fact that it tried to maintain our Indian values and did not show any vulgar stuff like cross marriages and people always trying to steal property by fraudulent means. I also liked the part that almost every character had a story to tell. I guess time to cancel my subcriptions since I do not watch any other serials and have no inclination to do so.
