Will Jyoti see the truth in Sneha's challenge?
Sneha's entry in to Mansukhlal Shah's family, as the new daughter-in-law, has brought with it winds of change in the Shah household. Even though she attended the book launch and spoke well about Manshuklal in the interview, her beliefs in life have not yet changed. Her ideals lead her not only to question Mansukhlal but also evoke reasoning amongst the women in the family.
Chandreshbhai, Jyoti's father has been arrested. Jyoti is aware that Mansukhlal is responsible for his arrest as he is the one who pressurised Chandreshbhai to breach a contract with his business partner. In reconciliation, Mansukhlal promises Jyoti that he will get her father out of trouble, and Jyoti is calmed down.
But on the spur of the moment Mansukhlal backs out! The entire family is shocked by his behaviour, but no one is willing to confront Mansukhlal on this issue.
Sneha who has her own ideals and who is trying to keep up to the Shah household tradition, is tired of being a silent spectator of all that is happening within the household. She continues to be shocked by the injustice meted out towards women in the household and finally decides to voice her opinions.
She questions Mansukhlal on his callous behaviour towards Jyoti's father...
