It is story about Iraboti who is again the eldest daughter but it does not show the father and his death, it starts with her working to support her family and she has a fiance and then enters the hero who has bought their house somehow. I am not Bengali so have only heard the story from a friend who is. But the heroine has a jealous sister who steals the original fiance. There are a lot of parallels like Iraboti is also a singer and later has a singing career but at the beginning is working to support the family. The real hero's nature is I think similar to Anurag as he is blunt and straight speaking person. Though the house track creates a lot of antagonism between him and Iraboti. And fiance creates a lot of problems for Iraboti before marrying the sister and even after marrying the sister.
