TRP ratings up with Vel running up and down! - Page 2

Could you explain me how that works with that TRP?
Which is the highest and what does this 2.1 means?
Sorry i do not any ideas about it...would be nice if i get a clue about it.

TV Ratings (e.g. 2.1) refers to the percentage of the number of the individuals (or households) viewing a program within a duration out of the total individual or household viewers.

Highest rating for the week posted above is 4.5 (Pavitra Rishta - Hindi version of TMS) and it is aired during the same time as Thendral and the slightly low TVR maybe due to this!😉

Nowadays there is so many serials being aired on Sun TV and not many people watch the same serials, hence lower TVR compared to Hindi shows! Chiththi got around 5 (highest), 4 for Metti Oli, around 3 for Kolangal and high two for TMS !

So Thendral is leading with TMS...good.Thendral is new but got higher TV rating then Thangam or Chellame. I agree Thendral has some valuable themes like education, friendship and a true love and no second wife story like in Chellame.The TV ratings are becoming lower. I think pple do not want to watch serials as they have done earlier.

Thendral was better than TMS and Thangam from the updates i have read...Hmm...😕

yeah aahana thendral was good compared to others but still it came 3rd..........may be bcos of the engagement scene of TA and charu it might have lost viewers.....

Thendral is a new serial and the TVR gap between TMS, Thangam and Thendral is very small.

Overall Thendral is doing great but it just shows that many people do not watch Thendral compared to TMS and Thangam. I still think Pavitra Rishta has some role to play but the main couple in the show are now divorced and it may give rise to Thendral!😉

Sri, I dont think PR has much to play on Thendrals TRPs cause only people who can hindi will watch it,,,rest wont na...but like you wrote, TMS and Thangam is kind of old compared to Thendral so it can be one of the reasons😊
