Fake reality is an oxymoron!! But then, this is really the most fake of all the reality shows. I am sure some people will agree to this!!
First and foremost, I don't understand why anyone would want to create such a show with Mallika Sherawat as the Bachelorette. On top of that it is funny that there are guys as young as 20 years of age as a suitor for the almost 40 year old, divorcee, and fake Mallika Sherawat. I saw about 10 minutes of the show yesterday morning and found Mallika harping about being lied to and crying about it.
On one hand I wondered why she felt bad about being lied to. Only a truthful person has the right to question why the others lie to them!! On the other hand, the comedy show made me laugh---I really had a good laugh at the whole scenario, Mallika's fakeness, the fakeness of the suitors who are in the show just for their few days of fame.
- To start with, a person is known by his/her name. In this case, Mallika Sherawat's real name is Reema Lamba. She chose to pick a new name probably to hide the secrets of her life she has been lying about.
Well, many film stars have changed their names right from Dilip Kumar to Akshak Kumar. In most cases, people were either asked to change their names or they changed it. But in most ccases they say they still use their original names on their passport. People still call Dilip Kumar as yusuf saab.
- Mallika has claimed that she is small-town girl from Rohtak. She keeps emphasizing on the part "mein chote shar se hoon". I don't call this a fact, but call it a part because it is not a fact. In reality, her father is from Hissar and that she lived most of her life in Delhi. Is Delhi a chota shahar?
- Mallika has often stated that women of her family were treated like cows (or something to that effect). Probably that is why she did her education at the prestigious DPS school (Delhi Public School) from Class 3-12. Till now, conservative Indian parents do not send their children to a co-ed school (DPS is a co-ed).
- Apparently, Mallika passed out of DPS (12th std) in 1994. If you know a little maths, Mallika would have been atleast 18 years old in 1994. That makes her 37 year young in 2013. Almost 40 isn't she?
- Almost all the time, the teachers of celebrities have good things to say about them, but see what her teachers at DPS have to say:
- Her senior school teacher Lalit Mathur was surprised and hurt that Mallika has never mentioned DPS in interviews. According to her, "The way she went on and on about being a small-town girl from Rohtak, for a moment we wondered if we were remembering the wrong girl."
- Her teacher, Anju Behuria said, "I read that she said her mother beat her when she wore lipstick for the first time in Class 10. Sounds odd because we all know that no Indian parent would send a child to a co-ed school if they were that conservative."
- Anju Dheman, her twelfth grade teacher, recalls: "Her repartee was always amazing. Sometimes, when she replied to a question, you knew she would be lying, but she would lie with confidence."
- Mallika keeps saying again and again, "I am fed up of this life. I am looking for true love even from a guy from an unknown small place." She has the guts to say this over and over again! The truth is, she found true love, she married of her choice, but chose to leave him to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress. "Reema" worked briefly as an air hostess when she met and married Captain Karan Singh Gill, Jet Airways pilot Captain a person of her choice.
In short, she left behind her husband and family and chase to become what she is now. She has fulfilled her career dreams. Now, she says, she wants to find true love... come on!!All these lies and hypocracy would have made sense if "Reema Lamba" could really become an actor. She just cannot act to save her life. How can she save this programme with her "acting". OK she has become well known, but is it for her acting skills? Is she famous as an actor? Nope. Reema Lamba just became "Mallika Sherawat". PERIOD!
I am now wondering why I have wasted my time writing this article in the first place L BTW, I have referred to two articles/news items to base the fasts. Since I cannot provide the URls, I am providing the names of the articles: "Mallika exposed: These are the true lies", "Mallika's former mum-in-law breaks silence" and "Mallika Sherawat's family more famous than her; great grandfather well known philanthropist in Haryana".
