Getting on board is the popular and talented Jigyasa Singh of Thapki Pyar Ki fame as the lead!!

Jigyasa who enthralled one and all and gained huge popularity for her lead role in the above-said Colors show has been brought in for the female lead's role.
As per a crebile source, "The decision was made of Kanika playing the lead in Ishq Pakeezah. However, the channel's last minute change has opened the path for Jigyasa to blossom in this role.
IndianWikiMedia.com has earlier reported about Vinay Jain, Gunn Kansara and Samiksha Bhatnagar playing pivotal roles in the show. As reported by media, Adnan Khan will play the male lead.

The sweet co-incidence for the loyal fans of Thapki Pyar Ki is that Jigyasa's costar Manish Goplani in the show is also part of the Zee TV family now, with him playing the lead in Zee TV's upcoming show, Detective Didi.
