CHECKING IN ON THE NEXT UPDATE
The youngsters were all gathered in the lounge, enjoying a casual and relaxed evening. Sahiba, Seerat, Garry, Veer, Kiara, Ekam, andPrince were immersed in conversation, laughter echoing through the room. Angad was conspicuously absent, allowing the atmosphere to remain light and easygoing.
Garry couldn't take his eyes off Seerat. He gazed at her with unabashed adoration, his arm wrapped possessively around her shoulders. Every so often, he would lean in to kiss her cheek or whisper something sweet in her ear, making Seerat giggle.
Ekam rolled his eyes dramatically, pretending to gag ."Ugh, you two are way too much. Can you save the romance for when we'renot around?" he groaned, earning a laugh from the group.
Prince chimed in, making a face of exaggerated disgust. "Yeah, seriously! Do you guys ever take a break from being solovey-dovey?"
Garry grinned, unfazed by the teasing. "Can't help it if I'm crazy about my wife," he said, pulling Seerat closer. "Right, babe?"
Seerat blushed but smiled back, leaning into Garry."Right," she said softly, her eyes shining with happiness.
Kiara laughed, shaking her head. "You guys are something else. I'm starting to think you enjoy torturing us single folks."
Veer joined in the teasing. "Yeah, save some of that mushiness for later. Some of us are trying to keep our dinner down!"
Seerat giggled, her cheeks turning a deeper shade of pink. "Oh, come on, guys. We're just happy," she said, trying to defend their public displays of affection.
Ekam made a dramatic gesture of covering his eyes. "Happy? More like making us all sick with your love. Get a room already!"
The room erupted in laughter, the playful banter adding to the warmth and camaraderie of the evening. Despite the teasing, it was clear that everyone enjoyed the sight of Garry and Seerat's happiness, even if it came with a side of exaggerated disgust.
Sahiba watched the playful interaction with a mixture of emotions. She noticed the love and affection Garry showered on Seerat, a genuine smile spreading across her face. It warmed her heart to see her sister so happy and cherished, to witness the loving bond they shared.
But as her thoughts drifted to her own marriage, the smile faded. She couldn't help but think about how different her experience with Angad had been. The harsh words, the cold stares, and the moments of intimacy that lacked warmth and tenderness haunted her. The contrast between her sister's joyful relationship and her own troubled one was stark and painful.
Sahiba tried to shake off the sadness, reminding herself of her resolve to gain Angad's trust and change their dynamic. Yet, the bitterness lingered, a sharp reminder of the challenges she faced.
Still, she forced herself to focus on the present, on the happiness of her sister. She joined in the laughter and banter, but a part of her heart remained heavy, burdened by the reality of her own situation.
Garry couldn't take his eyes off Seerat, his arm wrapped protectively around her shoulders. "Iām going to miss you so much when youāre at your parents' house," he murmured, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
Seerat smiled up at him, her eyes shining with affection."I'll miss you too, Garry."
Kiara, Ekam, and Veer seized the opportunity to tease him.
"Oh, look at the lovebirds," Kiara said with a mock pout. "Garry bro, are you sure you can survive without Seerat Bhabhi?"
Veer joined in, grinning. "Maybe we should get Garry a teddy bear to cuddle with while Seerat is away."
Ekam laughed. "Or we could set up video calls every hour so they donāt miss each other too much."
Garry chuckled, shaking his head. "You all can laugh, but you wonāt understand until youāre married."
Ekam pretended to gag. "Please, spare us the mushy details."
Sahiba watched the exchange, her smile faltering as her thoughts turned inward. She was genuinely happy for Seerat and Garry, but the comparison to her own situation with Angad was unavoidable. She hadn't even asked Angad if she could go to her parents' house, knowing his desires would likely come first.
Angad entered the room, his presence commanding attention. Sahiba's heart skipped a beat as she felt his gaze on her, a familiar sense of unease settling over her. To her, he seemed like a lord, his authority unquestionable.
He glanced around the room, acknowledging everyone with a nod. "How is everyone doing tonight?" he asked, his tone polite but distant.
Prince seized the opportunity to speak up. "Garry Broi s going to miss Seerat Bhabhi as she is going to her parents' house," he explained, then turned to Sahiba with innocent curiosity. "Are you going too, Sahiba Bhabhi? Since Seerat Bhabhi and you are sisters."
Sahiba's heart sank at the question, knowing that asking Angad for permission to visit her parents was futile. She plastered on a smile, trying to appear nonchalant. "No, Prince. I'll be staying here," she replied, her voice carefully neutral.
Angad's eyes flickered briefly in Sahiba's direction, but he didn't comment. Instead, he turned his attention back to the group, his demeanor distant as he engaged in polite conversation.
Seerat watched Sahiba closely, noticing the subtle shift in her demeanor as Angad entered the room. There was a tension in Sahiba's posture, a stiffness that hadn't been there before. It was as if she was trying to shrink into herself, to avoid drawing any attention to her presence.
Sahiba's forced smile didn't escape Seerat's keen gaze. She could sense her sister's unease, the underlying anxiety that lingered beneath the surface. It pained Seerat to see Sahiba like this, to witness the toll that Angad's presence took on her.
As the conversation continued, Seerat couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of her stomach. Something wasn't right, and she was determined to get to the bottom of it.
As Garry and Seerat stood up to leave for Monga House,Sahiba leaned in, her expression warm. "Seerat Di, please convey my regards to Tayji, Papa, Mummy and Keerat."
Seerat nodded, her eyes softening with understanding."Of course, Sahiba. I'll make sure to pass on your message."
"Thank you," Sahiba replied, offering a grateful smile as she watched them depart.
After Seerat and Garry bid their farewells, Prince's mum called him, prompting him to retire for the night, leaving behind Angad,Sahiba, Veer, Ekam, and Kiara. Sahiba keenly observed Angad's interactions with his siblings, noting a warmth and ease that seemed reserved for them alone.
Veer leaned back with a grin, nudging Angad playfully. "So, big bro, any grand plans for Ekam's special day?"
Angad's eyes sparkled with excitement as he leaned forward, sharing his ideas animatedly. "You bet! We're going to make it unforgettable."
Ekam's face lit up with anticipation. "Really? What are we going to do, Angad Paaji?"
Angad chuckled, teasingly withholding details. "Ah,that's a surprise. But trust me, it's going to be epic."
Kiara chimed in with a laugh, shaking her head in amusement."Always the master of suspense, aren't you, Angad bhai?"
Meanwhile, Sahiba observed their lively banter with a hint of envy, longing for that same warmth from her husband. However, as she witnessed their bond, a determination blossomed within herāa resolve to bridge the emotional distance between herself and Angad, despite the challenges they faced.
As the conversation lulled, Angad turned to Sahiba with aserious expression. "Sahiba, I need you to organize Ekam's birthday party, itās her 18th in 3 days. Make sure it's perfect," he instructed, his tone firm yet tinged with a hint of expectation.
Sahiba's heart skipped a beat at Angad's directive, a mixture of apprehension and determination swirling within her. "Of course, Angad," she replied, mustering a smile.
As Angad's tone shifted to seriousness while addressing Sahiba, Veer, Ekam, and Kiara exchanged subtle glances, their expressions mirroring a silent exchange of thoughts and observations.
Veer's eyebrows furrowed imperceptibly as he glanced atEkam, a flicker of concern passing between them. Ekam's gaze shifted to Kiara, her eyes reflecting a mixture of empathy and unease. Kiara, in turn, met Veer'sgaze with a shared understanding, their silent communication speaking volumes.
In their shared glance, there was a tacit acknowledgment of the contrast between Angad's demeanor with Sahiba and the affectionate rapport they had witnessed between Garry and Seerat. They couldn't help but draw comparisons, noting the stark difference in the dynamics of the two relationships.
Angad and Sahibaās Room
As Angad and Sahiba entered their room, the soft glow of the lamp casting gentle shadows across the walls, Angad couldn't help but notice the solemn expression that graced Sahiba's features. Sensing her subdued demeanor, he couldn't resist probing gently.
"Why didn't you go with Seerat to her parents' house?" Angad inquired, his tone a mixture of curiosity and concern.
Sahiba's gaze lowered to the floor, her fingers fidgeting nervously as she pondered her response. "As your wife, it's my duty to be where you are," she replied softly, her words weighted with a sense of duty and obligation. "I know my obligations towards you, especially at night."
Angad felt a swell of pride and warmth wash over him at Sahiba's words. In that moment, he couldn't help but marvel at her unwavering devotion and loyalty. "Wow," he thought to himself, "she actually thinks so much about me."
As he looked at Sahiba, a newfound appreciation for her dedication and selflessness blossomed within him. In her quiet demeanor and steadfast resolve, he found a reflection of his own values and principlesāa bond that only deepened his admiration for the woman standing before him.
As Angad drew closer to Sahiba, a tension hung heavy in the air, palpable and charged with anticipation. In a bold move, he leaned in and pressed his lips firmly against hers, a gesture so unexpected it sent a shock wave through Sahiba's entire being.
Sahiba's eyes widened in astonishment as Angad's lips met hers, his kiss igniting a firestorm of conflicting emotions within her. Despite the familiarity of their intimacy, this was the first time Angad had kissed her on the lips, and the sensation was both exhilarating and unnerving.
As their lips melded together, Sahiba found herself instinctively responding to Angad's passion, her own desire rising to meet his with an intensity that took her by surprise. In that moment, all doubts and reservations melted away, replaced by a fierce hunger for the man before her.
Caught in the throes of their newfound intimacy, Sahiba couldn't help but question the depths of her own desires. Why was she responding to Angad with such fervor, despite the complexities of their relationship? It was a question that lingered in the back of her mind even as she surrendered herself to the intoxicating heat of the moment.
But as their embrace deepened and their bodies intertwined, a harshness crept into Angad's touch, a stark reminder of the reality of their situation. In the heat of passion, he became rough and demanding, his actions leaving Sahiba feeling bruised and vulnerable.
Regret flooded Sahiba's heart as she realized the gravity of her mistake. Why had she allowed herself to be swept away by the intensity of their connection, only to be met with Angad's harshness in return? It was a question that echoed in her mind as she lay beside him, grappling with the painful truth of her own desires.
Monga House
Sahibaās family was disappointed that she didn't come with Seerat, but Seerat had made up an excuse that Sahiba had other commitments. Her parents were happy that despite the truth of Sahibaās forced marriage, she seemed to have settled in well.
Later that night, Seerat and Keerat sat on the bed in their room, unable to shake off their concerns about their middle sister, Sahiba.
Seerat: Keerat, I canāt help but feel that something is not right with Sahiba?
Keerat: I feel like since she has gotten married she has completely changed
Seerat: I never knew that with me running away with Garry everyone would force her to marry Angad
Keerat: Since her wedding I feel like we have lost our lively, colourful sister
Seerat: I agree with you Keerat, Sahiba and me we live in the same house but our relationship is so formal, I have tried talking to her but something is just not right with her, its like she has bottled everything inside of her
Keerat: How is Angad Jiju with her, I still remember that day when you and Garry Jiju came home the way he grabbed her and took her away from everyone, it was like he was trying to prove that Sahiba Di is his possession Seerat Di and that he should control her
Seerat: I have been observing her behaviour too, for example today we were all sat down before Garry dropped me off and were chilling together and as soon as Angad came she became stiff.
Keerat: Do you think he has done something to her?
Seerat: I'm not sure, but the way she acts around him makes me uneasy. She seems scared, like she's always on edge when he's around.
Keerat: Itās heart breaking to see her like this. I miss her laugh, her joy. Now, it's like she's just going through the motions, pretending everything is fine.
Seerat: I wish she would open up to us, tell us what's really going on. I hate seeing her suffer in silence.
Keerat: We need to find a way to help her. Maybe if we spend more time with her, sheāll feel safe enough to share what's happening.
Seerat: Yes, we need to show her that we're here for her, no matter what. She's our sister, and we have to protect her.
Keerat: I agree. We canāt let her go through this alone. We need to find a way to bring back the old Sahiba, the one who was full of life and happiness.
Just then Keerat showed Seerat an envelope that had arrived for Sahiba. Both the sisters looked at each other, opened the letter in suprise and made a plan.
Brar Mansion
Ekam's birthday had arrived, and Sahiba had outdone herselfwith the arrangements. The garden was transformed into a magical wonderland, adorned with fairy lights and colorful lanterns that cast a warm, festive glow.A beautifully decorated table held an array of Ekam's favorite foods, while a giant cake sat in the center, ready to be cut. The guests, including the Monga family, mingled and chatted, enjoying the evening's festivities.
Sahiba moved gracefully among the guests, ensuring everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves. Her warmth and hospitality were evident in every detail, from the personalized party favors to the carefully curated playlist of Ekam's favorite songs.
As Sahiba circulated, Seerat and Keerat, who had been quietly observing her interactions with Angad, exchanged meaningful glances. They had made a plan to keep a close eye on their sister and her husband, sensing that there was more to Sahiba's composed exterior than met the eye.
Meanwhile, Daarji, the head of the Brar family, took center stage to make a special speech for his youngest granddaughter, Ekam.
"Tonight, we celebrate the wonderful milestone of Ekam's 18th birthday," Daarji began, his voice full of pride. "Ekam, you have brought so much joy and happiness to our lives. Watching you grow into the beautiful and intelligent young woman you are today has been a blessing."
The guests clapped and cheered, and Ekam blushed, beaming at her grandfather's words.
One of Daarji's friends, standing nearby, raised his glass and called out, "So, Akaal, what can we expect next from the Brar family?"
Daarji smiled broadly and replied, "Well, soon I expect to be a great-grandfather. Are you listening, Angad?"
There was a ripple of laughter among the guests at Daarji's teasing remark. Sahiba, who had been listening attentively, felt a pang of discomfort at the mention of starting a family. She exchanged a quick glance with Seerat and Keerat, who observed the interaction with concern.
Sahiba: (internally, with a forced smile) "Here we go again."
Meanwhile, Angad, who was standing nearby, couldn't hide the hint of desperation in his eyes at Daarji's words. He had been longing for a child, hoping to solidify his position within the family and fulfill societal expectations. The pressure to produce an heir weighed heavily on him, and Daarji's comment only added to his anxiety.
Angad: (smiling but with a strained tone) "Yes, Daarji,I'm listening."
After Daarji's speech, everyone returned to enjoying the party. Laughter and cheerful conversations filled the garden as guests mingled, savoring the delicious food and admiring the decorations.
Sahiba, ever the gracious hostess, moved among the guests, ensuring everyone was comfortable and well-attended. She was engaged in a conversation with one of the Monga family friends when Angad approached.
"Excuse me, I need to talk to my wife for a moment," Angad said, his tone polite but firm as he gently took Sahiba's arm and led her to a quieter corner of the garden.
Sahiba's heart pounded as she followed him, trying to keep her anxiety at bay. Angad turned to her, a rare smile on his face.
"You've made the most perfect arrangements for Ekam's party," Angad said, his voice softening. "Everything is just perfect. You've done an amazing job, Sahiba."
Sahiba felt a flicker of relief and smiled back at him." Thank you, Angad. I'm glad you like it."
"But," Angad continued, his expression turning serious, "to make me even happier, we need to fulfill Daarji's wish quickly. I don't understand why you're not pregnant yet. We've been trying, haven't we?"
Sahiba's smile faltered, and she felt a cold knot of anxiety tighten in her stomach. She lowered her gaze, struggling to maintain her composure. "Yes, Angad, we have," she said quietly. "I don't know why it hasn't happened yet."
Angad sighed, his frustration evident. "We need to try harder, Sahiba. It's important for the family. You understand that, don't you?"
Sahiba nodded, her mind racing. "Yes, I understand."
"Good," Angad said, his tone softening slightly. "I know you can do this. Just keep trying."
As Angad walked away to re join the guests, Sahiba felt a wave of relief wash over her. She took a deep breath, forcing herself to smile again before returning to her duties as the hostess. From across the garden, Seerat and Keerat watched the interaction, their concern for their sister growing even deeper.
Seerat and Keerat approached Sahiba with concern etched on their faces.
"How are you, Sahiba?" Seerat asked, her eyes searching her sister's face for any sign of distress.
Sahiba forced a smile. "I'm fine, Di. Really."
Keerat wasn't convinced. "Sahiba Di, be honest with us. Is everything okay? Is Angad Jiju pressuring you about having a baby?"
Sahiba hesitated, looking down at her hands. The silence stretched between them, heavy and telling. Seerat gently pushed her, her voice soft but firm. "Sahiba, you can tell us. We're your sisters. We're worried about you."
Taking a deep breath, Sahiba finally spoke, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm used to just listening to everyone. Before marriage ,I would listen to Mummy, and after marriage, it's Angad." She smiled weakly, the expression not reaching her eyes. "It's just how it is."
She excused herself quickly, leaving Seerat and Keerat standing there, stunned by her words. As they watched her walk away, the realization dawned on them. In that moment, they understood that Sahiba had always been the forgotten child. For their mother, Seerat mattered, and for their father, Keerat was the favorite. Sahiba had always done as she was told, never expressing her own needs or desires. The truth was painful and clear: their parents' focus on Seerat and Keerat had inadvertently hurt Sahiba deeply.
Keerat looked at Seerat, her eyes filled with remorse. "We've always been so focused on ourselves, we never saw what Sahiba was going through or what she wanted"
Seerat nodded, her heart heavy with guilt. "We need to make it right, Keerat. We need to be there for her, truly be there."
They stood in silent agreement, determined to ensure that Sahiba would never feel forgotten or alone again.
Sahiba sat down on the chair at the dressing table and started to remove her jewelry. Her thoughts shifted toward her sisters' concerns for her. Was it that obvious that something was wrong and that Angad was pressuring her for a baby? Well, thatās what they thought, but she knew there was much more that had happened to her from the start of her marriage that had changed her drastically.
She felt Angadās footsteps approaching and then his arms enveloping her in a back hug. He nuzzled her ear, whispering softly, "I'm so grateful to have you as my wife, Sahiba. You've made everything perfect tonight."
Sahiba stiffened slightly, his words catching her off guard. Angad sensed her hesitation and gently turned her around, looking into her eyes with a tenderness she hadn't seen before. He leaned in and kissed her forehead, a gesture that left her shocked and confused.
"Sahiba," he murmured, his voice filled with uncharacteristic warmth, "you've made Ekam's birthday unforgettable. I couldnāt have asked for a better partner."
Sahiba's heart raced with a mix of emotionsāconfusion, fear, and a flicker of hope. She was struggling to reconcile this softer side of Angad with the man she had come to know. Before she could respond, he scooped her up in his arms and carried her to the bed, laying her down gently.
To her surprise, Angad continued to be gentle and soft. His touch, usually so demanding, was tender, and for the first time, she found herself relaxing into his embrace. He stroked her hair, his fingers lightly tracing patterns on her skin, and she actually found herself enjoying his touch.
"Tonight, let's make Daarji's wish come true," he said softly, his tone insistent yet tender.
Sahiba's mind was a whirl of thoughts and emotions. She forced a smile, masking her inner turmoil, as Angad began to express his desires. Despite the unexpected tenderness, she couldnāt shake the feeling of being trapped. But in that moment, feeling his gentle touch and hearing his soft words, she allowed herself to enjoy the rare intimacy, even if just for a fleeting moment. As the night progressed, she tried to push aside her fears, resigning herself to the role she had been forced into since her marriage, yet finding a small, unexpected solace in Angad's newfound gentleness.
To be continued....

Amazing update
I love how keerat and seerat are looking out for sahiba
Honestly, I want Sahiba to get out of this marriage and not lose herself completely. But I also want to see her express her pain. It's.....so sad! Angad deserves nothing more than utter disregard and indifference from her.
It's beautifully written šš». It's heartening to see Seerat and Keerat realize that Sahiba had always been ignored. Keep up the good work! š„°
