on the show.
Farah managed to dig out some interesting secrets of Bong bombshell
Bipasha in her earlier days in Mumbai, the actress used to keep a hatoda
(hammer) in her purse to protect herself from all danger. Bipasha
says, "I used to carry a huge bag. In it were a pillow and a hammer.
After late night rehearsals and fashion shows, I would tell the taxi
driver to drop me at my paying guest accommodation at Bandra. I'm
geographically challenged. I don't have a very good road sense so I'd
get into the cab; take out my pillow and go to sleep. And thankfully,
I never got a chance to use the hatoda." To which Farah quips, "How
sad. Achha agar hypothetical tumhe hathoda kissi pe maarna hota, to
tum kahan pe maarti usse? Bipasha quickly retorts, "Upar aur neeche
(and laughs)!"
It is not just because of carrying hammer that Bipasha was called Lady
Goonda by her friends.Bipasha reveals:"I used to keep a stick in my
hand and straighten all the colony boys if they acted smart. I used to
be very short as a child and I was the monitor in school. When the
tall boys would be upto mischief, I'd jump on their back during breaks
and pull their hair and beat them up.Farah smiles and says, "Those
boys must be regretting now that if only you'd pull their hair off
now!" Shilpa smiles, "And the hathoda award goes to Bipasha Basu!"
Shilpa gifts a torch to a member in the audience that lights up after being wound by hand and an
autographed Rajasthan Royals ball. The torch is from her NGO based on
protection and conservation of Environment. Therefore the torch does
not run on batteries but with the help of a hand crank. It is an eco
friendly torch.
Bipasha gives her personal favourite training shoes. She is a fitness
freak and she admits this on the show saying, "None of her co-stars
can match up to her when it comes to the time she spends in the gym'
Not even John!"
