Anurag smiled to himself as he strolled towards his brother's room. He had never expected that a day would come when he would ask his own brother, for "date tips", as in what to and what not to do on a date. He felt like banging his head on the wall, when he remembered how he had asked Taani whether she was ready to come with him for dinner'''

Anurag bit his bottom lip vigorously as he walked towards Taani's house. A lot of questions were arousing in his already crammed up mind. He felt the sweat pouring out from his face and he knew that this wasn't because of the heat. Finally, when he was in front of the house, he found himself shaking.
Anurag's POV: Damn it Anurag! Why are you so much tensed? Just relax, alright? I mean, after all, it's Taani, right? You are not going to ask out the neighbour's wife or something. Just chill dude!
Boosting up his courage, Anurag rang the bell. After a few minutes, Taani opened the door and she looked like she just had a bath as her hair looked damp. For a moment, Anurag felt like he was in some kind of a castle in the sky. How had he missed this beauty earlier? Or was he blind? Waving her hand in front of him, Taani took him back to reality.
"What happened?" She asked naughtily.
"Nahi'.kuch nahin''vo'''why are you not calling me inside?" He suddenly asked.
A coy smile spread across her face. "Come inside'''"
"Um'Where is err'''maa?" Anurag asked, suddenly feeling so strange in the house that was the most familiar for him and the person standing before him was like the alien from some other planet.
"She has gone to the bazaar to buy vegetables'''''''" she said, staring down. "Um''kyun aaye ho?" she asked, trying to break the silence that was wrapping the room. She felt like she was talking to her friend's boyfriend, instead of hers.
"Actually''''um''''are you free'err'''''I mean'''are you''.hmm''" Anurag stammered.
"What?" Taani urged him.
"Are you'''.um'''I'I think your'land phone is'err...out of order!" he finally ended up saying.
"What? Out of order?" Taani asked, confused. "Ab yeh Onu kya hogaya?" Taani muttered under her breath. Then in her normal voice, she continued, "Onu, I think you are mistaken'the phone is perfectly alright'"
"Vo tho main bhi jaantha hoon'" Anurag mumbled.
"What?" Taani asked, confused.
"No'actually, I was'I'I was trying'to call'call you'but the weird woman said, "The number you are trying to call is currently out of order"." he finally said. "I think there was some confusion ' okay'I have to go'bye'" he turned to leave.
Taani expression clearly displayed that she didn't believe even a word he had said. "Wait Onu..."
"What?" he asked, turning back.
"Say the truth'''''" she said, twitching her lips, suppressing the smile.
"I think you caught me''" Anurag muttered. "Actually'''bath yeh hain ki'''err''''..I wanted''.to take''take you out tonight''this was what I wanted to ask." He breathed a sigh of relief since he had broken out what he wanted to say.
Taani nodded, her eyes twinkling. "Haan''I'll come''" she whispered.
"Thank you so much''''See you tonight!" Anurag said and was about to go when Taani interrupted, "Arre Onu!"
Anurag turned, twisting his eyebrows. Taani came closer and gave him a short, but sweet kiss on the cheek. "See you'" Anurag said and walked back to his house.

Anurag knocked at Robindo's door. Robi opened the door.
"Dada''Kya hua?" he asked, with his usual goofy smile.
"Actually Robi'I wanted some advices'''like''''" Anurag said, stepping into the room.
"I know what you are going to say'" Robi mimicked Anurag's voice and said, "Robi'I am taking Taani out today'and I am damn scared! I need your help!" And in his usual voice, said, "This, na?"
"Robi ka baccha, how the hell did you know?" Anurag asked.
"My ill fate made you my brother!" he sighed.
"Dekh, I am not fighting, alright? You'you just have to help me!" Anurag begged.
"Dada kya aap bhi? You know na? Whenever I have taken some girl out, I didn't hold any kind of feelings for them''''then how can I help you out, dada? I think you are on your own here'''" Robi said.
"Acha?" Suddenly he slammed Robi's head. "Mujhe pata tha'''''..you are not of any use'bloody joker'" Anurag said, walking out of Robi's room, leaving him stunned.

As Anurag looked around, he found the evening sky, burning dark red, with a light orange shade. The sun bid goodbye for a good night's sleep. As the sun disappeared behind the moonlight, like the curtain descending after a nice stage show, the birds flew beyond the marvelous sunset, singing a beautiful song for the twilight. He could hear the faint rumble of the waves in the nearby beach. He could imagine the reflection of the golden sunset flowing on the sea. What a wonderful night to spend with Taani'.Anurag thought.
Anurag didn't have any idea, but he was feeling much more relaxed than he was in the morning. He felt like it was going to be a very good evening. To all the girls who were staring at him, his face clearly showed, "I am already someone's. Sorry, girls!" Even in his casual t-shit and jeans, he was Prince Charming. As he waited, Taani stepped out of the house, as usual, looking gorgeous. But he knew; it wasn't the external beauty that attracted them towards each other ' it was the selfless love that bonded them.
"Hi!" she whispered,
"Bohat achi lag rahi ho!" Anurag said, trying to get closer to her. But to his disappointment, she pushed him away and said, "Dekh kar gaadi chalo."
Anurag acted like he was angry, but she kept smiling, which made him love her more. He parked the car before a narrow pathway, which lead to what seemed like complete darkness. "Where are we, Onu?" Taani asked, trying to figure out where the darkness led to.
"You don't believe me? Just come with me, okay? Main hoon na?" Onu asked.
Taani nodded and got out of the car. But she felt difficult to walk through the darkness. "Onu!" she called out to Anurag, who took the lead. "I can't see anything''it's too dark here'"
"Oye! Ab yahan lights bhi fix karne paregi tere liye?" Anurag asked, sarcastically.
"Shut up!" Taani said. Seeing her helplessness, he came to her and swept her off her feet. Taani, who didn't expect this, said, "Onu, what are you doing? Somebody would see''" She tried to get back on her feet.
"Now I say, shut up! You think someone will be there in this place?" Anurag said and walked.
"Kya? No one is here?" Taani asked. "Kahaan lekar aaye ho, Onu?"
"Shut up!"
After what felt like miles, the road came to an end. Taani got back on her feet. Neither she nor her eyes, believed what she saw there.
Taani didn't have any idea that a place like this even existed in the planet earth. They were standing on the edge of a hill, now adorned, with the vivid lights of the Kolkata city. Far away, she could barely see the trees huddled together, like sentries shielding the house. The light breeze ruffled the trees and refreshing, pure smell of the forest would come in.
Anurag turned to her and asked, "How's it?" he felt his heart beating faster.
"Paagal! It's just a small date and you did this much?" Taani asked unbelievably.
"What? You didn't like it?" Anurag asked, disappointment sweeping across his face.
"You idiot! It's incredible! Amazing! I'I just can't believe this!" Taani said, trying hard to fight back the tears that were popping up. She felt a lump forming in her throat. Not able to control anymore, she threw her arms around him. Between the tears, she managed to say, "Thank you so much Onu! Nobody has given me such a gift during my whole lifetime! I know, it definitely sounds cheesy! But seriously, I'll never forget this night'I'I'love you, Onu!"
"Love you too! It's never cheesy when it comes from your lips! Aur yeh sab'''sirf tere liye!!!"
And both of them danced in their world of joy, to which no one was given the permission to enter.
