With Tashn-e-Ishq heading for a five-year leap, new characters have been introduced to the plot. The leap has made way for Naman Shaw, who will play Rocky Singh, a celebrated boxer. With lead actor Sidhant Gupta exiting the show, Naman has stepped into his shoes as the new leading man.
Post the leap, Sidhant's character will assume the identity of a boxer. Naman is kicked about playing the role of an arrogant boxer who lives life on his own terms. Sharing his excitement, Naman says, "The role is different from the previous characters I have played. In order to look convincing as a boxer, I have had to undergo a physical transformation. My hard work has paid off. All those relentless workout sessions have made my body fitter. The feedback I have been receiving has been encouraging " people from the sets told me that I look like a professional boxer."
