*Folk Round - Part 1*
I liked the beginning performance by the guest. He was really cool, with the different things he tried out. Can't believe he was on top of a box with the lamp lit. Not an easy thing he did and kudos for that!
Judges..hhmm...have a mixed opinion. It's great to have a choreographer and a dance master as the judge but Kalyan master is too nice and he doesn't say much. Today it was DD who kept asking what is one point they need to work and then only he mentioned a few pointers. Radhika, is better than Radha but not a big fan of her judging, she was in a previous season, and felt like she didn't really say much as a judge, hope she will be a good judge rather than say let the Master say since he knows best.
When they said Balaji as a contestant I was shocked, never expected him at all. Suji Bala I've seen before in two seasons of MM, she was good in MM. Sunitha another returning contestant has arrived, have no idea why Vijay TV added an extra pair right now, that too her partner not shown yet.
1) Shivani and Sai
- Both have good expression but the dancing was so light especially the beginning, they were hardly moving and mainly standing there.
2) Shalini and Vetri
- Not bad for starting round, Shalini seems to have good confidence.
3) Anandhi and Vijay
- Good performance both did well and matched each other.
4) Karthik and Jennifer
- I don't know why Karthik was wearing those glasses lol. Karthik being a total newcomer to dance was not bad, but he really has so much work to do. His energy level needs to increase and he first needs to be confident and look up at the camera rather than the floor. Jennifer was good. Hope they get a good choreographer to really grind them and so Karthik can learn about dance.
5) Amuthavanan and Kuyili
- Hhhmmm, found it a little awkward but individually Amuthavanan is getting there, he has potential.
