I must say I'm rather disturbed with the way the story is progressing with Bhavani picturing Yugi as a husband candidate for Maya. Maya has the mental capacity of an 8 year old and imagining her in a marriage is very disturbing. Imho, Bhavani should focus on making Maya as self sufficient and independent as possible and appoint a guardian or caretaker to watch over her. It is selfish, unreasonable and unfair to expect Yugi to sacrifice his life and future just so Maya is in good hands. Maya is, in effect, a child and should be treated as such and Bhavani should think of some arrangement that resembles an adoption, not a marriage for her. Curious to see how our director ONR handles this and I'm confident that he will surprise us by breaking the stereotype that marriage is a "cure" to everything from philandering to mental disabilities.Post not meant to offend anyone. Do share your thoughts.
