Everyone except Prabha gets up when Krishna appears. Krishna stares at him angrily. Other boys ask Prabha to get up. Prabha does it slowly (on purpose?? - maybe he doesn't like his strict father) 😆 and goes to another seat. Uma calms Krishna down. Krishna signals everyone to sit down. Prabha however still stands until his brothers ask him to sit down.
One by one Krishna asks his three sons about their work. Eldest son Natarajan and second son Saravanan are working in their father's company and informing him about the business dealings. Third son Dhileepan is working in another company. Krishna expresses regret for that, and the fact that Dileeoan is too soft and humble to acknowledge that he doesn't get respect or increment in his salary. Dileepan meekly tells him that his manager asks him to wait. Krishna turns to Prabha and Prabha starts to talk. Krishna morachufies. Both Uma and Prabha are sad. 😭
Susheela asks Krishna to help send her son Dhanush to a private school where Dhileepan studied but Krishna asks her to be satisfied with what they have and asks him to join a normal school where his elder two sons studied. Susheela gives a face and disappears into the kitchen to pack some food for home.
Krishna's maternal cousin Vaithiyanathan arrives. On his way into the house he sees people gathered outside Krishna's house to ask for donations. Vaithi says he will inform Krishna.
Vaithi says hello to everyone. Krishna is happy to see him and the boys laugh at Vaithi's way of talking which is very funny. Vaithi is surprised that even Krishna is smiling. Vaithi complains about his wife Susheela when suddenly she appears. 😆
Krishna sees the donation people and ushers them in. One comes to ask funds for a temple, another for funds to supply meals for an orphanage and the last one to conduct marriage for five poor couples. Krishna provides the full amount to the last two but doesn't give much to the temple man and says God will help them. Temple man leaves disappointed while the other two are happy. Krishna leaves for work.
Vaithi comes into the kitchen and sees his wife taking more than her share of the food from Uma. 😆 He complains about this to Uma but Uma says she is fine with it since she is happy that Susheela calls her sister in law and looks up to her like a mother. She says she is happy to give to her relations. Vaithi also becomes emotional and leaves when Krishna calls him. The sons also leave for work and say goodbye to Uma. Uma say sit is time for her and Lakshmi to eat.
At the office one of the head mechanics behaves arrogantly when Krishna's friend Ayyavoo tells him off gently for being late. Things get worse even though Ayyavoo is patient. The mechanic Subbu holds Ayyavoo's shirt. Nataraj and Krishna arrive at that moment. Krishna sees this and screams at Subbu to get out even though Ayyavoo tells him to calm down. Krishna says Ayyavoo would have done the same if someone did that to him. The office workers praise their friendship. 😃
Uma and her helper Lakshmi sit down on the floor to eat. Lakshmi tells about her daughter's valaikkappu. Uma gives her extra money. Lakshmi starts crying out of happiness.
Vaithi's son Dhanush brings his friends to see Uma's house. Uma is happy to see him and hugs him. Dhanush introduces Uma to his friends. All of them look at the house in awe. Uma gives them chocolates and one extra to the girl Kuttyma whom Danush likes 🤣 The girls look around and praise the big television.
Uma is amused by the girl who is sitting down and looking around mesmerized. She starts to make plaits with the girl's hair and put flowers. The other girls come running too.
Meanwhile in front of Uma's house Ayyavoo's wife Eswary (who chased Uma and Krishna out long ago) and her friend alight from the auto. Eswary looks at Uma's mansion and thinks in her mind that this rightfully belongs to her and that she hates Uma living in this house and living like this. 😲
