We'd told you earlier that the actor is tying the knot with a Mumbai-based Gujarati businessman named Mayur and it is apparently an arranged marriage. Even Disha's brother Mayur Vakani, who plays Dayaben's brother Sunder in the show, had confirmed the news of the actor getting hitched very soon. He had also revealed that the groom comes from a non-filmy background.

Now we hear that Disha has decided to have a low-key wedding. She may have a court marriage followed by a small get-together for close friends and relatives.

"In real life, Disha is a very shy girl. She prefers to remain silent when it comes to her personal life. For her wedding, both the families have decided to have a low-profile wedding. They might opt for a court marriage and then organize a small get together for their closed ones, relatives and friends. Nothing has been finalised yet; talks are still going on," Daily Bhaskar quoted its source.

Disha Vakani became a household name as Dayaben after her portrayal of an innocent Gujarati housewife in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

TFS !
That's so nice ! Didn't know Disha was so shy.

I like her idea of low key wedding.Otherwise these days the marriages are obnoxious display on money and power.

Yeah, Indians claim of being poor and they burn off all their money stupidly in weddings...
That much money, if saved, can grant you a car, and one kid's education...may be a house...
who remembers your wedding after ten years and why make it show-off matter...
chose quality to quantity, no need of a crowd who come to see and show status and just eat, drink and make merry...instead few very close frens, well-wishers and both families are enough...also court marriage are more valid legally.
