The scripted part for me is sometimes hard to digest. I actually started watching this show a little later. But, I feel Ratan's emotions are quite genuine...I do think she is nervous and hurt at times, and scared...which she has every right to be.

As far as Rohit's elimination, I think "professor-babu" did raise some doubts in the way he was behaving on their last date. I mean he seemed to asking Ratan to "change," which kind of threw her off. So, it might have been a personal choice in this matter.

And the fact that the face astrologer, raised doubts about Rohit. And Ratan did say she trusted him blindly, so it was kind of all coming together for Rohit's elimination.

Yeah, I highly doubt that every emotion we see is scripted. There is a certain amount of genuinity in everything we see, just not perhaps as much as we'd have liked.
Actually, you're right about Rohit. After that episode, I was quite suprised to see that side of him too. And it was quite apparent that he was unlikely to be the perfect husband that Ratan was looking for. But I do think that though she definitely woulddn't have married Rohit in the end, Abhimanyu would have been the right dulha to leave that day.

agreed abt Ratan being a normal simple sensitive girl next door..!
except for her little arrogance and words of choice to blame Sohaib, she seems a gud girl.. i think v havent seen the whole picture.. i still cant understand Ratan as much as i understand the boys.. m sure once among her own family.. v will c more of Ratan's true nature...
yes, this is exactly wat young girls shud luk for in husband.. it makes girls understand her parents more.. who luk for more thn luks and compatability... parents luk for financial stability, conduct of family members, and wat grooms parent think abt their "bahu"...
also an eyeopener for parents.. tht jst a meeting or 2 is tuff for a girl to make decisions.. she needs more time and more meetings.. to come to a decision (if she is mature enuf to take on her own)... but alas.. our society doesnt permit tht.. and tag choosy girls with different names.. and malign their image..
bt times r changing.. and i hope todays girls get wat they want and wat they deserve!

^Well said! A decision that can affect your entire lifetime, and many parents expect their daughters to take it in minutes. A sad state of affairs indeed...

I agree compared to Rakhi, who was more of a showmanship and the grooms, this is a lot better and more decent in this show.
I can say it is very much scripted but there are certain aspects you can't act out in this show. There's a lot of fakeness, over acting and some people are trying too hard *coughs* Abinav*coughs* .

However like Nikhi said it does teach you somethings like how to judge a person or not judge a person truly. It also show how important for girls to choose the right person and not to be fooled by mere appearances, sweet talk or face value. Even for guys I think they could learn a tip or two about what girls look for in a husband. Despite all its fakeness and scripts, you can take with you what you want with this show and throw away what you don't want. It's pure entrainment and Ratan being an entertainer has does or doing her job.

@ Amri174 I think generally girls like bad boys because they're forbidden and that's an attractive feature. For girls I think our parents raise us not to ever fall for bad boys but in the back of our minds, we always wonder what it's like to be with a bad boy. The whole idea of forbidden become very tempting. This is just my opinion😆

even i dont hate ratan...i have been a regular viewer of agle janam...but what i hate the fact is,...tht she is trying to be someone what she is not...her arrogance, her attitude is seriously not the one i assumed...

i have nothing personal against her...its just tht she has been pretty arrogant which i hardly imagine...i dont think tht 'i' or the other members have any personal agenda of 'hating' her...its just her fakeness is troubling everyone...naturally ppl will react...she is herself responsible ... no body else
