I am pretty chilled out so hardly much bothers or irritates me. I realise sometimes people do things for petty or big reasons. Yet I have got annoyed when people lie to me on my face blatantly. I also don't like the lackadaisical attitude of people in the society. They tend to blame everyone else but themselves.

Ratan who's among the youngest bahus of prime time television and is probably best known as the fiery Laali in the show Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo was in Ahmedabad to promote her Swayamvar Season 3 - Ratan Ka Rishta.

Considering she's at the peak of her career, what's making her think of getting married, and that too, on national television. "I want to get married. I don't think marriage is a hurdle in one's career. My personal and professional life are different. Even career oriented women get married and continue to work. Why can't I get to do the same?" she asks flashing a radiant smile . ____________________

Next, Veena Malik ka swayamvar?

Veena Malik ka swayamvar? Yes, you read it right. If sources are to be believed, the channel that is currently airing "Swayamvar – Ratan Ka Rishta", has approached the Pakistani star for their next season.

"The channel is repenting by taking a non-controversial celebrity like Ratan Rajput this time for their show. The low TRPs prove that viewers have are not interested in Ratan's swayamvar," informs a source.

"The channel has now approached controversy queen Veena Mallik for the next season of the show and she has even agreed to give the offer some thought. The talks have started and Veena is quite keen on getting married this year. Whether or not she will be a part of next "Swayamvar" is yet to be decided, but she is the first choice for us," the source continues, adding, "Even mentioning Veena Malik as being interested in participating in the next season of "Swayamvar" will ensure inquisitiveness among the viewers."

Talking about what went wrong with Ratan's swayamvar, the source says, "Ratan selected the boys for her marriage herself. But soon after the show came on air and when people around her expressed their displeasure at her selection, she started stating in her interviews that it was the channel who selected the boys for her. Also, from the first day she seemed quite disinterested in interacting with the boys. The enthusiasm about getting married that Rakhi Sawant and Rahul Mahajan had, is missing in Ratan."

Ratan Rajput's tantrums
Ratan Ka Rishta- Swayamvar 3, has been getting bad reviews, reports and Amap ratings and now sources claim, Ratan Rajput hasn't been getting along well with the contestants on the show. In tonight's episode, she will be get into a verbal argument with contestant Shoaib. The two got abusive during a photo shoot done to check the chemistry with the guys. Apparently, he tried to get too close for comfort and his physical closeness irked Ratan. There were many abusive words exchanged which perhaps will be deleted and things got so out of hand that he was eliminated. Shoaib lost out on a good chance as Ratan was heard praising him in the last few episodes.

Ram Kapoor, Ali Asgar, Avinash Govarikar to add spice in ImagineTV's Ratan Ka Rishta...


After a fun & eventful first week, Imagine's Swayamvar Season 3 – Ratan Ka Rishta, promises to be filled with high-intensity drama, action, emotion, romance in its second week…

Tellybuzz has earlier reported about Ragini Khanna, Rakshanda Khan gracing the sets of Ratan Ka Rishta and now we hear about a few more names who will arrive to add spice on the show.

A little birdie quips, "There will be an exciting session of photography where the grooms will get a chance to click photographs with Ratan. And the photographs will be clicked by the celebrity photographer Avinash Govarikar."

We too hear that next week, the boys will also travel with Ratan to Amer Fort where they will meet vivacious Ali Asgar and will play a lot of fun games where he will be the instigator between Ratan and the boys in a funny way. Ram Kapoor, the host of the previous seasons, will also make a surprise entry next week where he will have a heart-to-heart chat with Ratan.

We contacted Ali Asgar and he says, "Yes, I had shot for for Ratan Ka Rishta and it was fun to be a marriage fixer on the show. It was fun to play such games with Ratan, which were never played before."

All our efforts to reach Ram Kapoor were in vain. We also texted him but he didn't revert.

Well, Ratan seems to have a long way to go before she gets to decide her groom...

Imagine TV's digital initiatives for Ratan ka Rishta receives overwhelming response


The wait for all the bachelors is finally over, as Ratan Rajput the bride to be and her potential grooms have got the buzz going on not only on television but in the virtual world as well.Imagine TV has now taken a step ahead to promote Swayamvar Season 3- Ratan ka Rishta in the digital space.

For the 3rd season of SwayamvarImagine TV has undertaken some unique digital initiatives that includes mobile game by UTV India Games, which was also the number one downloaded game on Airtel in the launch week. Imagine TV has yet again partnered with Zapak and also launched Web Game that is also hosted on Facebook and Imagine TV's website. The game gives the audience a chance to see where they would stand if they were in the real Swayamvar. The channel also launched a unique initiative where audience call Ratan & give her advice each of the prospective grooms. The initiative received an overwhelming response of 5000+ calls in one day.
Along with that, to know more about Ratan, her prospective grooms and the show the channel is
providing 'Ratan's Audio Dairy' for Airtel, Vodafone and Reliance users. To get connected with their
favorite bitiya on TV Vodafone is also availing a live audience for its subscribers on 14th June. And not only this, the subscribers of channel99 also receive a WAP link which has interesting pictures from Swayamvar along with captivating captions.

Ratan ka Rishta is a gloomy swayamvar
The third season of Swayamvar on Imagine has Ratan Rajput finding herself the perfect groom. She is seen donning yards of silk, having several hairdos and sporting tonnes of jewellery
Given that she's more fun-loving, Ratan does look uncomfortable. The glow of a bride-to-be is missing and the sets look gloomy.

What's worse is that the suitors on the show do not seem to have any impact and are extremely boring. The show didn't help its cause when Dolly Bindra made a guest appearance on the show and interrogated the wannabe grooms. Bindra came on an elephant, which makes us wonder what PETA was doing at that time. She was dressed like a Christmas Tree and was very unimpressive.

Actor Hiten Tejwani, who hosts the show, barely smiles. It was more fun watching Ram Kapoor as he hosted the show.

We feel this year's Swayamvar didn't click because Ratan is not Rakhi Sawant. If she weren't a

TV beti , no one would have come to see her in this show.

Verdict:Dont waste your time to watch this show

Ratan Ka Rishta falls short of actors

We all know of the low TRPs of 'Ratan Ka Rishta' and lately, it got so bad that they didn't even have enough actors to act in the serial.

Yes, you heard that right. "Recently, while they were shooting in Vrindavan for an episode where Ratan goes out on a date with one of the grooms, the crew spotted a photo-studio which provided dresses of Maharaja and Maharani on rent. So, the director of the serial came up with the idea of shooting a scene of Ratan and the groom dressed as Maharaja and Maharani," informs the source.

However, they had no actor available to act as the owner of the studio and since the man who owned the studio wasn't appealing, they asked the photographer on the sets of the serial, O P Sharma, to enact the role of the owner of the studio, adds the source. Luckily, the photographer, O P Sharma had earlier acted in Karan Arjun, and serials like 'The Great Maratha'.
