Sandhya's story - my theory

Connecting the little bits and pieces, I think this is the background story about Sandhya and how she ended up in this house.

1. Nirmala briefly talked about that fateful night when she was coming back to Jaipur and she said what would have happened to her if Sandhya was not there.

2. Sandhya doesn't seem to care about anybody in the house except for ... Kunal. She has shown hatred towards Nirmala, Karan and even NK... but never had she said or did anything against Kunal

3. In one her creepy monologues with her spirit-in-the-cupboard, Sandhya said she has made many sacrifices for the house. She was promised a lot but never got anything back. She also said everything is fair in love and war.

Connecting these together, if I can take a guess - I think Kunal is Sandy's son. Nirmala lost her first born and to escape from NKs wrath, she begged Sandy to pass off Kunal as her own son and in return, Sandy would be given shelter in Chauhan house. This is why Sandy made sure Karan was always left behind and lost in all his battles in life. She wants her own son to be the heir.

She has a photo of Karan in her cupboard - which is what she speaks to. He is the only 'apna' soul in this house for Sandy.

This sounds convincing and we've all come down to everything of this 'Kunal is Sandy's son' thing. I so don't want it to happen!💔

Everyone is thinking the same twist. I want CVS to surprise us but this will effect both brothers and sisters whole family

Possible but hope kunal is not that bi*** son🤢 kunal is soo much sweet and good person to have same blood as hers 🤢 hope more like sandy lost a kid saving nirmala and kunal and she was braught to the house to shown gratitude and with a promise of naming Nk and nirmala next child after the child she lost kabir and she is after revenge cause they broke that promise and called that son Karan 😆

well it's to early to tell, Kunal being her son is the most obvious, and What Prasa said, well That is possible to😲, and I was thinking that, but then there is much more than just naming, come on she needs to be total physico to do all this just for a name, which is also possible🤣, then came the possibility of something related to NK, but after last epi that is also not the case, and from last epi, we know, she cares for both Kunal and Karan, and that is more shocking, she don't just hate Karan or Love Kunal, she is obsessed with both, and wants both to be under her control, and both to think she is good for them...if yday she would have been worried only for Kunal, then it would be confirmed he is linked to him, but she was worried what both will think, so Kuch to bahut garbar hain, bahut bara locha hain...🤢

One thing is confusing me @bold. Means NK also dont know that Kunal is not his son? Then for what purpose he is letting Sandhya stay in this house?

I dont think NK can live with the truth that Kunal is not his own blood. He is too proud of his Chauhan khandaan.

Once Nirmala got Sandhya into the house, Sandhya might have used her charm and skills to win NK's trust. She is like NK's right hand now, so NK wants her in the house.

I think she is the one responsible to create a rift between NK and Nirmala. She put Nirmala down in front of her husband to increase her own value in the house.

She is obsessed with Kunal and Karan for two different reasons. She always wanted Karan to fail and she is probably responsible for his "medical condition" also. She wants to control Karan so that she keeps a tab on him and make sure he fails at every step.

So far, her genuine love and care has only been towards Kunal. She has no love or care towards Karan. Why would she give him expired medicines otherwise? And spray perfume in his shoes just to make him lose when she knows how agonizing the pain is for him.
