i think they let him go because there ws no solid evidence that implicated him after initial investigation, monica looked more of a suspect and summit ws out of country. i guess its not possible to put someone to jail just coz they 'thought' he was the killer.
and he got manish killed by making other plant bomb on them...why does he need to be in the country?
But yeah how ws Jacki killed?? did they show that?? dont think they did and i found that weird.
i feel its not possible to show every nuances of investigation, they most probably made calls at the centre and asked some one to match up the calls, whats there to show?? and may be ashish was traced with GPS enable tracking system...who knows... none of the cases in Surya i have seen so far are that keen on details, thats a general negative point and i m no longer expecting a perfectly all thought out case.
the ending ws a damper true, they got hold of the killer pretty easily given the fact he claims himself to be genius.
in spite all these, i liked it as i was not expecting anything in the lines of Bones or Castle or CSI(the only indian detective series i found to be that cool and smart was Time Squad) ...frankly i m sorry but i seriously can't expect Surya to be that good, at least not yet. There will be flaws if you look close enough, for me the point is whether they make too many glaring mistakes or just few.
