Bigg boss is more manipulative in terms of trying to influence the public bcoz it is a form of popularity contest .. so they try making it more appealing and ppl in there become very plastic which i hate .. and all those wild card entries new member entries which i think gets very annoying ..

Survivor is more of performance based adventure show .. there is no manipulation by the production ppl .. its already been shot so no guest entries .. it just for 45 days and its done .. ppl who like roadies like me wd also like this .. ppl dont have time to be fake

I agree with you. Colors lost it this time with BB5. The participants were very manipulative, mean with complete disregard for rules. On the other hand the participants in Survivor are less manipulative, no facade and true to their real selves. The show is not thriving on melodrama of the contestants. They do the tasks and move on with life. I am loving it so far...

As far as the concept goes: survivor >> Bigg Boss

Survivor USA is the BEST reality show ever. It s been running for like 12 years. THe show is fast paced. It s not boring. Great casting, great editing, great host, challenges are well shot... Bigg Boss is not even 5% of Survivor USA. If they tried Bigg Boss in USA, people would laugh at their fake dramas and production manipulations. No one would even bother to watch that show.

Survivor India is not even close to Survivor USA. The challenges are confusing and badly shot. The editing doesnt always make sense. The contestant are boring. They are dont manipulate and they really dont have good confessional. The host is horrible and he cant even be compared to Jeff.
Lets see if they can improve cuz the concept is great but India screwed the execution.

Just watch Survivor USA and I m sure your opinion would change. Survivor India sucks, seriously. It s indeed boring. I hope it picks up later on because I had great expectation.

As you said, Survivor USA started more than a decade ago, and things get better over time. Give Survivor India enough time, and it will get to the level of Survivor USA if not better. Either ways, most of the crew is from the Survivor Franchisee, with abt 75 members from the Indian team, so I don't see why are we complaining.

And as they say, first child will always be the best child, audience tend to like the versions that they see first. Be it movies, songs or shows. 😃

I think Indians are too much protected and pampered by their parents. While americans allow their children to become independent from day one. No spoonfeeding. That reflects in shows like Surivvor.

Give them time. A rosebush cannot become a banyan tree overnight.

Under the circumstances, they are doing their best.

Let us encourage such shows.
