Based off views on Sony’s page. Chetanya is ahead of Faiz in this department, and I’m guessing it might be a factor because they probably follow Sony and the show so might be potential voters? Can’t say for sure though. Faiz has lakhs of views in his own ig but I don’t think all those people are following the show, rather following just him. Chetanya is also the second most followed contestant I think, but nowhere close to Faiz.

Kinda like Sanchit in SD. Huge fanbase among celebs/dance community, but failed to garner votes despite having Vartika as guru.

They had 4 Captains in Ss1.
The finale had 6 individuals.
One Captain had 3, another had 2 and the third had 1. One Captain lost everyone before Semi Finals.

The Captain without kids still attends every show and sings a solo in the Finale. So, no kids does not mean no presence or no singing!

Sayli can then sing Khatouba Khatouba in the finale… 🤣🤣

Call me old fashioned, but I like level playing field assessments 😃
If I take Sony's page as an indicator, and it is a valid indicator, we can see that when the subject is the same Faiz is ahead by a large margin. Also, it is hard to compare Sony likes. Sometimes a contestant will have more than one upload on Sony. That divides likes. And frankly, I had a hard time finding a solo by Chetanya that Sony has uploaded recently. Everything is with others.

Yesterday I scrolled through all of Sony’s sss2 posts and was surprised to see Chetanya had most views or at least top 3 for every week 🤪 Or maybe I failed to notice others idk. We might owe the recent interest of TCT on Chetanya to this same reason. But I don’t see him making to finale even with votes. He’ll just be ahead of some others.

Will see though. Voting lines might open soon. Among top 10 probably? How was it last season?

Btw, how many of the performances we know was shot but never aired? So far we only know about Arunita ones

You put my mind at ease. I was scratching my head as to how chaitanya can be ahead of Faiz. For me there is just no comparison between the 2. One is a potential finalist & the other a probable candidate for elimination going by his performances. He should’ve been one of the firsts to go, in fact. Faiz, even when he is not in his element is way ahead of him.

I am sure there are more. The contestants usually prepare at least 3 songs and on technicals day they possibly sing all three or at least two.
Aru/Faiz we know because someone took the trouble of shooting and posting that video for views.

On another note, I just love it when Faiz sings impromptu like this. He sounds so good It's sad to know that his potential has barely been scratched on the show. Seeing his SRGMP performances was a revelation on how much range he has.

I'm just waiting for this sort of a performance to happen on SSS2 stage. Such a lively vibe it had! Couldn't find the full video, but these two rocked the stage with their presence -

The middling overall quality of contestants is the Achilles' heel of the Season in my opinion. I think the blame rests squarely on TCT. They were too busy with SRGMPa to devote time and resources and just picked some marginal contestants from previous reality shows. They discovered Mani late and held a fresh audition in Delhi to include him. Arya was a coup but she is not showing the improvement expected from her. So, that really leaves Faiz and Rituraj among contestants who at least made the Finals of any Reality show. Last season they had the likes of Ankona, Nistha, Shekinah Mukhiya, Sneha Shankar, Mauli etc and none of them won!
I have felt from the start that this Season is between Faiz and Sayisha and nothing that has happened since then has made me change my mind. If Faiz does not win it will be because of Sayisha. Same as last Season where a very similar (but with Classical training) kid, Prity, trumped all the senior singers. But a small footnote is in order. None of the singers were half as popular as Faiz is on IG.
