Shraddha Sharma aka Ambika in Suno Har Dil Kuch Kehta Hai on Sahara One had a harrowing experience last week. She went hysterical after she lost her way while going home after shooting at Filmcity. Shraddha had a panic attack and started to scream and cry in the hope that unit hands would rush to her rescue.
Recalling the incident, Shraddha says, "Usually, I work for at least 13 to 16 hours every day. My unit packs up around 12 to 1.30am. On that day, I wrapped up relatively early. Even the production people asked me to go home. I was really happy and left the studio by car. We were shooting at a temple, from where I had to take a right turn to get to the studio premises. But, to my astonishment I reached a dead end after a long drive. To make matters worse, my car gave way. I was really scared because I was in the middle of nowhere. But I decided to brave the odds and started walking, but in vain. I was lost."
"My co-actors had frightened me with stories about wolves and tigers prowling around the premises at night. At that point of time I started to hallucinate about wolves charging at me. There was not a single person in the area. I continued walking for at least 45 minutes, but could not manage to find my way back. I started shouting for help. Thankfully, I had the number of one of my unit members and I called him to help me," Shraddha adds. Ever since, the actress has been teased by her colleagues. "Now they try to scare me with stories about cheetahs," she laughs.
The actor has learnt her lesson from the incident. She says, "I have decided never to travel alone especially at night when I am shooting in places like Filmcity or Madh Island."
