Niyati > The recent serial that I was doing was Ek Ladki Anjaani Si and I also acted in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin . I quit working in Ek Ladki.... After I was selected to train for Pond's Femina Miss India contest. And I did Jassi...for two months because my character was only for that time period. Niyati > Thank you so much! Sat > Hey Niyati. Read your profile. Hey, do you think that working with Sony Entertainment gave you the much-desired exposure you needed to qualify for the PFMI? How did it help you to shape yourself into a better and confident person? Any other attributes of yours you would like to share other than acting? Niyati > Other than acting, I love singing, dancing and making friends. Well, working with Sony has given me the exposure and confidence of facing the camera. But getting selected in PFMI is no way related to my work that I have done earlier. Renjith > Are you satisfied with the way terrorism is treated in India? What are your comments? Niyati > I am not satisfied the way it's treated in India but I believe that terrorism is something that prevails in each and every country. Kartiksubbu > You look like a confident person. What do you think it takes to be the best? Niyati > I believe it's the belief in myself that makes me a confident person. Jigs > What do you have to say of former beauty queen - Nafisa Joseph and recently Kuljeet Randhawa, TV actress and model, and a pageant winner who committed suicides? All pageant winners are hailed for their strong characters etc. Then what happens to these girls down the years? Frustrated with life so soon? Niyati > As I have gone through the life of being an actress (TV), a point comes you're your career) where you are encounter saturation and frustration, which sometimes makes one takes this step. So, it depends on the individual person how he/she copes with it. Doll > Hi, TV is happening so much and you have acted in TV serials. Then, why are you taking part in this beauty contest? Niyati > Well, Femina Miss India contest has been my dream since childhood, and I was eliminated (in the preliminary rounds) for the last two years. I didn't get selected in the finals. So, it was a challenge that I took up and decided that this year I had to be there (in the finals), and here I am! Anuj > Hi Niyati, what is your favourite time pass? Niyati > My favourite time pass is troubling my friends' irritating and chatting with them. Renjith > Once a Miss India title winner, do you plan on entering Bollywood and do hot scenes like former Miss India winner (and now actress) Priyanka Chopra? Niyati > Well, once I win, I will just go with the flow. I have kept my options open. About exposing myself in Bollywood, I will not do any major exposing scenes, as it is not me. Gehti > How did you bag the role on in the two mega TV serials - Ek Ladki Anjani Si and Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin? What roles did you play? Niyati > I went for an audition and got short-listed for the characters. In Eek Ladki..... I played the character of 'Sonia' and in Jassi.... The name of my character was 'Jo.' Didie > What makes you think that you will win the crown? In what way are you above all the others competing with you? What is the first thing you will do if you win? Niyati > It's my individuality which makes me stand out in the crowd and gives me my identity of being known as 'Niyati.' It's a winning edge that I have in me. I am always energetic in what ever I do. The first thing that I will do is hug my parents.
