I am interested in having my account deleted from India Forums. I don't just want a deactivation; I would very much like my user profile and all of my posts completely purged from the database. I DM'd Minionite to request this, but I was told moderators are only able to deactivate.

I am hoping Vijay or any other technical staff can please see that this is done expeditiously.

I’d like to request the same. I’ve been wanting to have my account deleted for a while but never acted on it. As mentioned by RTH, I don’t want a simple deactivation but a complete purge from your database.

I would like to join Return_To_Hades, JayaBacchan, Supari_Khala/Supari2 and request deletion of my account. I have better things to do with my time and my life. I do not wish to read hateful posts on this forum, read abusive MIDs running around harassing female members, and mods who enjoy watching harassment and make up WL based on their whims.

My friend D3vil, who is currently inactive/hibernated, would also like a ban and a complete purge, just like RTH requested.

He gives the same reasons as RTH, explained perfectly below, because he fully understands her perspective.

Honestly, If RTH and everyone else get their requests granted, I'm considering the same. I've wanted to do it before but couldn't.

We should all have the option to delete our posts and erase any trace of our accounts if we want.

Don’t know if the owner of this site reads these suggestions… but here are my two cent… this place used to be so lovely and fun… the only “wars”

Going on here were between srk and Salman fans…. Last 7-8 years this place has gone to the dogs… with bigot members being allowed to spew their hateful rhetoric with backing of MODS…

the members these mods side with are given a slap on wrist as most and they are allowed to run amok on this site…

The members they don’t agree with are given long excuses as to why their WL can’t be lowered, while their buddies are running around like hateful headless chickens…

I want to ask Vijay directly… that if I was to make a topic on selective genocides on current affairs and in the very first post I deny the forceful exodus of Kashmiri pandits by saying let’s talk and real forceful displacements, what happened to Kashmiri pandits was just “voluntary migration”
Will the mods let that topic not only run but also made sticky in global announcements…
Or should I dismiss the Bengali genocide by saying oh it was never recognized by the UN So definitely it wasn’t a genocide… it’s a common occurrence in wars…

Will any of the mods will let that slide by? Or go one step further by making it a global announcement..

It is obvious that the mods here have a bias against a certain community and will encourage other members sharing their ideology to spread hateful agenda here

This site, even though brings revenue for the owner, but the mods are not paid… so the mods use their privilege to favor the members sharing their views and opinions.

There is no fairness and accountability in current mod team and I hope the owner can look into this.

I would like my account deleted as well.

Nothing to do with current hullaboo. But my kids got abused in the past. Shared some personal anecdotes in good faith. Have been on this site for 15 years. No longer feel safe as I did earlier.


Freedom of speech is - my way or highway for some people.
Threatened for speaking facts over feelings. Scary time we live in. Any online footprint is a disaster waiting to happen.

Please if you can erase all old posts. I would like a fresh start.
