To me, the picture is clear. Every Nation and State will have to have, extend lock down slowly but surely, in small intervals extensions, for another 2-3+ months,..... absolutely no doubt. No way Out , and this virus will still wipe out some percentage of Planet's population ( God Forbid ! ) The re-striking cases of China's Wuhan and S. Korea's previous Patients are coming back, with Silent Corona, and that is even the most disgraceful and scary situation than ever,... !
I heard and saw some news that in US the pregnant women are now keen on abortion before their kids get born with a permanent Corona blood-cells and structure,...
Iran and few nations even released their Prisoners for free, before they die inside like cattle,...

Saviour Factors for India to fight against COVID 19
1. BCG vaccination given to Indians and not in European countries which is proven to have anti bodies.
2. Intelligence agencies have been set in to track CORONA infected individuals, Police and social workers have full focus on tracking as Crime rates are close to ZERO. Keeping close eye by drones as well!!
3. Hence, apart from just a lockdown, we are into SORTING, SEGREGATING, FILTERING individuals by the trackers.
4. Strictly Sealing the local CORONA HOTSPOTS which will curb down the geographical spread. This is going down to MICRO level.

I'm glad that IF put on this thread.
The situation as we all know is the toughest one. The entire world is fighting against a common enemy, every country is trying to do it's best. And as an outsider, I can say one thing that your PM took the right decision at the right time. It's not easy to make decisions like this since it will affect first of all people's lifestyle and then the economy. But health should always come first.
As we say it here we'll win it, till then we have to stay at home, which for now is the safest place in the world.
At my place, the lockdown had been extended and I'm pretty sure it's not going to end before June or July, before a vaccine we can't talk about going back to our normal lives, especially after knowing that the one positive to Covid-19 doesn't get immunity. There is a relapse.
Let's hope for the best.

Certain symptoms develop after few weeks and months in different arena,...
Let say, they give vaccine first to Guinea Pig /mice/rat,.... later to Rabbits, later to Monkeys,.... and then confidently deliver it as a safe on to we Humans,..
...... and Under each stage they have to study a mouse's behavior on its eyes, diarrhea, brain, other side effects, hearing, senses, health, bones, and other senses,.. and what not and btw, certain side effects develop after few weeks and months and hence,.. it's a time consuming process to study-it all,..... on all stage-wise animals very thoroughly ,.... before we be confident and then produce in mass for Humans,.. or we may end up killing other Crores of population just by giving vaccine, n' make them blind/deaf/ retarded / other lung/heart diseases,.. other trails that Nuclear explosion left,.. and what not !
Somewhere in 50-60s we had a bitter taste of sheetla / Baliya / Chickenpox and it took time for the vaccine to be out and we lost thousands of human lives,... but when the task was completed, it was once and forever,...
In India, in 70s/late 60s ( I still remember ) all Indian walls in every major area, all urination areas we had posters " whosoever will find a single Sheetla ( chickenpox - e.g. face of actor om-puri ) case, we will give him 1000 Rs. ( that was a Hugh amount at that time ! )
Yess,..... and the reward was , b-coz we were confident and sure , that we had wiped them out, of their all of the case, ( Virus have had disappeared ! ) when we started mandatory the BCG vaccince for each new born kids,...

लोकल दुकानदार से सब्जी, फल, किराना, कपड़े, दवाई आदि लेने होंगे,
हिंदुस्तान को फिर आगे करने को खुद हिंदुस्तानीयो को आगे आना होगा ।
