My fav has to be the Bangkok track so if they have here as well then I'll be so happy!

Regarding the current episodes, a BIG YES! It didn't feel the same like TSMSP. And rombe hype pannittu konjam sappaiya thaan irunthutu. Even the marriage promo also not so great I feel. Let's hope the future episodes do better. Also I think while Vikram and Thanuja has natural chemistry, they still need to connect offscreen so can have scenes coming out nicely between them. Especially the episodes right after marriage would definitely have two of them together all the time. Avi and Rhea had that easy chemistry offscreen and this able to transfer it well onscreen. One disappointment is the grandeur that was shown in promo and that was missing in the Milan episode. The music, the cinematography and grand set missing which lower downs the hype a lot. I really liked the first promo Milan. It was what that made me watch this show. Hoping the episodes will be better from now. Also they have made some changes here already. Chitti thinking she can make use of Sakthi to bring down Shiva, whereas in TSMSP, Maasisa was wary of Kanak given that she initially refused to reveal anything about herself or her background. And later part when Kanak was slowly changing Uma, she was worried. After Kanak openly challenged her and her Son, she turned against her fully. Here, Chitti is already on Sakthi side. And seems like she may already know something about her family. Hopefully they keep her name and other details a mystery from Shiva and his family. I really liked that part in the original. Especially when Uma did a ritual where he named her as Kanak, not knowing her real name is Kanak. Hoping to see here as well. Hahaha! Anyways I hope they don't drag today episode! Will be pissed if they did.

Avi was good as the show progressed. Up today, I prefer Vikram's acting. Lets see if the equation changes later... but both are doing good. Their acting style differs, I connect more with Siva because he shows emotions while I couldnt decipher Uma (in the early stage).

Must be Chitti's makeup. But still, you can't say she has a grown up son.
Rhea was really good, in fact I would say her portrayal of Kanak was perfect. Her character was nucely sketched today, you can connect to her easily, she's us I would say, representing the current generation.

Yep those two tracks were kodumai, hopefully we wont get to watch that! But till now, the show seems to be taking a deviation from the original.

If they show remarriage, I'll stop watching for sure! Then all the Siva Parvathi wont be making sense at all!

I think this version he knows. Or maybe he is making it up. Okay I don't know. I didn't notice it also. Hahaha! I love this version for the anger the female lead has shown. So much of anger and justified one at that. I didn't feel Kanak was so pissed of getting married to Uma as much as what I'm seeing Sakthi doing in SMS. Also i liked that there is a reason for Sakthi having no choice but to get married(for her brother's sake), whereas Kanak was just so shocked to even react. Scenes of confrontation regarding marriage and after marriage scenes are much more detailed and better in SMS I feel. Hopefully they also do justice to the falling in love part here. I think I could have more expressions from Vikram than just smiling 😆 So far I liked Thanuja acting in the marriage scenes more, but but but I hate to say, I dislike her lip sync. It's off at times and she speaks slowly and the dubbing artiste also speaks slowly, making it difficult for the dialogues to flow properly. Urghhh not that I dislike but Vijay Tvkku Tamil actors eh kidaikkileya? 🥱

Well tbt I think yes initially Uma was wooden but he did good gradually. Like u said. Vikram is okay still he needs to stop smiling often. It's distracting! Hahaha!

Horrible OTT tbh! She looks like Vikram's Akka/Anni. But if she is really 29, she can even play Sakthi(with less make up ofcourse) Crap logic from Vijay TV again. They did the same with Kalyanamam Kalyanamam.

Agreed completely! I absolutely loved her potrayal as Kanak. Among regressive female leads and OTT ones, she was truly a unique kind. Rhea's charm added a lot to the show. I couldn't imagine the show without her. And the chemistry between Uma and Kanak(Avi and Rhea) was so good and Rhea has a big contribution for it. She kinda really made Uma likeable. 😆

I'm hoping so too! So far marriage and after marriage is better. I hope they do deviate from the original especially the track after Bangkok. After Uma remarrying Meera the whole show was horrible and unbearable. Uma and Kanak togetherness mattered a lot to the show, it was the lifeline!

I feel Vikram seems more attached to those around Shiva family. And like u said, now that marriage is over, Thanuja and Vikram will have maximum scenes together. And many scenes ALONE without the family baggage. I hope they keep the romance here too. I hate if they don't show it. They should promote the pair like Colours TV who is busy promoting Shreya and Siddhu(Santosh and Janani from Thirumanam). That could give a boost

They are serious about not following everything from original so Shiva knowing she has a Brother is good. But he doesn't know anything else and even Sakthi refused to share like Kanak. Now have to wait and see if Maruthi finds her bag or not. Omg tell me about it! I hated that Shiva used her brother to get her to accept the marriage. But after that I feel weird that Sakthi still haven't realise that her Brother is no where there. Now that she has seen Maruthi I believe she is going to only focus on getting her papers back. I say bring it on!! Haha!!

Today episode was good. Shiva raising voice was shocking. I was shocked when Sakthi gave loving expressions and then was jumping in joy when she gave a sixer to Shiva by hitting his face with the ball. Sakthi is a firecracker seriously. I'm loving her hatred towards Shiva. He deserves it for forcefully marrying her and using her brother for it. That brings me to a question that I had for both versions. What would have happened if Kanak/Sakthi had outright rejected the idea of marriage even if they thought it was for a play? Would Uma/Shiva be more forceful than they were? Maruthi, this guy! I have a soft spot for him cos he looks like my cousin ditto and also he seems like a good character. Glad they made the character younger. Would be easier for Sakthi to annoy Shiva by using Maruthi. Thanuja was amazing today. I absolutely love her stings and her hatred. Can't wait for tomorrow episodes. I'm hoping they make Sakthi's characater hate Shiva more. It's actually interesting to watch her hatred and her spitting fire at everyone. I know they might mellow her down now that she will find out about where the documents are. But a little hope they don't mellow her down at all. I like her this way. We can wish a little no?! Hehehehe! Also Thanuja is very very pretty, something damn attractive about her face. She and chitti have looks. The two sisters are so average. Saras was so pretty in the original and I absolutely adored her scenes with Vansh. Wonder if Satya and Siddhu will match up. Ved and Payal are still my favourite, especially Ved. I dont know but I find Kannan underwhelming character here. Gayathri as Rekha is good though(already mentioned before).

None called her Shakthi in front of him. Either he knows it I dunno how or he himself named her so when she fainted (he's always said she's my sakthi). But she never asked him how he knew :S
YeahKanak was kinda adjusting with Uma despite being forcefully married. Sakthi on the other hand isn't taking it easy and love it when she gives it back to the people !

Vikram is older than her, he's 31. Yeah chitti could have been the heroine too but Tanuja has that innocent/childish look in her, esp when she's dressed casually with her hair loose.

Omg yes!! I was hoping for her to be confused thinking how he knows her name like Kanak was but the name was never the issue later on. Uma didn't even mind voice that he got her name right(like they are meant to be and ishwar ka sanget). I think it's going to be a non issue here as well. Shiva might really call her Sakthi because he believes she is his. Here also can be taken that it's a sign cos Shiva could have named or called her Parvati instead but uses Sakthi instead. Anyways yst episode was so good omg! I was watching with my mum and I was yelling at her why the hell is Sakthi giving loving expressions suddenly(during the ring ceremony). She was also puzzled like me. And then when she took the ball and aimed right on Shiva's face, I and my mum laughed out so loudly! Hahahahah I'm absolutely loving the hatred that Sakthi shows. More than submissive Kanak. Kanak was not fiery enough I felt. Yes she was already scheming to get her hands on the papers but before she even saw ghabbasa, she wasn't so fiery. She was imagining Uma beating up her family and she was crying like a baby begging him. I think that mellowed her down a lot. Glad they didn't stick to that in SMS. I'm absolutely loving fiery Sakthi. I found myself clapping and cheering for her to break Shiva's face even 😆 😆 And just now before leaving for work, Nani and mummy were watching NM repeat and I saw that same lady from SMS, the one who eggs on a Shiva to marry Sakthi cos it's a god sign. I looked at my mum instantly and told her intha ladylaam mothalla kallaale adichi kollanum. My mum was confused then I reminded her character in SMS. She laughed remembering the ball scene. Hahahahah I cannot believe my mum actually is invested in SMS as much as I am. 😆 😉 Nani was puzzled watching our antics and interaction. Hehehe 😉

He and the people around him would have anyway got her married to Siva. Remember, that lady said we dont care what she or her family thinks or Wants. You like her so we'll get her married to you.

I don't think she'll mellow down that easily. She'll still be arrogant with them but will stay back to get back the documents.

I find the sisters cute though...
but all the actors in the Hindi version were something else! The sisters, the brothers, the lead pair, Palome (Madhura), everyone!

Kanak immediately mellowed down after seeing gabbasa. Before that, she was too shocked (and scared?) to react. Wish to see the first night sequence though! 😳
