The girl acting as Shakti is doing a fantastic job..esp as a boy ❤️

I like the bonding between Karthik's Anni and Velan ❤️ They can establish a beautiful story since they hv got good actors on board. Romba drag pannama irundha good.

At last Karthik realises Velan is his child .. and that his mother is Mallika. Naturally Kadhu and gumbal are hoppping mad.

Mouna Raagam Updates as of 17th Oct:-

The episode aired on 17th Oct was one of the best that I have watched in recent times. I literally had goose bumps. Great work to the creativity team, music and the lead child artist. She just nailed it.

Updates so far:-

Everyone is confused who is Velan after he left Karthik's house. Karthik's anni goes to Swarns who is in Jail and enquires who is Velan. Swarna lies that Shakti ran away in search of her dad. But, Velan stole Shakti's bag that had her mom's pic and jewellery. Karthik's anni believes this and says that Velan should never come back to Karthik's house.

Karthik meets Velan while travelling to concert. Karthik goes and cuddles Velan who notices his mom's chain on Karthik's neck. On enquiring, Karthik comes to reality and runs away from Velan and meets with an accident while driving the car fast.

Meanwhile, Velan sees Karthik's pic on the paper and comes to know that Karthik is admitted in the hospital. Velan goes to the hospital and is asked to leave the hospital by everyone except for Karthik's Brother.

Karthik's Brother meets Velan and takes him to the temple where they first met. Karthik's bro ask Velan for the real truth and not to hide anything from him. Velan reveals that his mom's real name is MALLIGA and that he is from the Theni village. He also revelas that he is a girl and not a boy to which Murali (Karthik's Bro) get shocked. Now, Murali is 100% sure that Velan is Shakti and she is Karthik's daughter. All the mystery surrounding Malliga, Shakti and Velan are solved. Murali now realizes that since Velan was Shakti, he had feelings for Velan.

Murali says that Velan should not disclose his real identity to anyone and asks him to promise for which Velan does. Murali says now he will decide what Velan is supposed to do and takes him to Karthik's house.

Precap: Murali's wife ask him to not let Velan in the house. If he does, she says she is ready to leave the house. Murali says that's her choice.

Awesome episode, narration and acting. This serial is better than any other serials on VIJAY TV and SUN TV...

Was irritated with so many episodes where karthik was standing like kallu getting beaten up etc

Now it is good turn of events

Wish Murali disclose Sakthi identity to his wife.

En dhaan indha Nandhini ponnu always thedufying Swarna for info on Sakthi .. doesn't she know Swarna's true colors ??

Actually I don't feel Kadhu is really at fault - it is the way Karthik is treating this whole matter - the man is too selfish pa - rendu pillaigalum venum naa , oruthiyai roadlaye vittutu poradhaa ?? 😡😡 Poor Sakthi - she isn't first priority for him !!

Story is going in good pace. Loved the bonding between Murali and Shakthi... Shakti should never accept Karthik as her dad. He is so selfish and no backbone to accept his fault. He knew he did wrong to Malliga by giving her a baby and now he is running away from his past... On the other hand Murali is so good. He shud tell Nandhini about Shakti so that Shakti gets the love of Murali and Nandhini... She deserves it 😭😭

Murali deserves to have a child. Shakthi will be so much happier with Murali and Nandhini since they are independent and are able to make decisions unlike Karthik. I mean even if he doesn't like his wife the way he treats Shruti is bad. Even if she can't sing as good as him,it doesn't mean she shouldn't sing at all. She is his child, even if she is the worst singer in the world he should listen to her.
